Wow that was explained in very well detailed manner because I’ve been so upset about my camera being in this position for like 6-7 years and I being clueless on how to fix viz cuz stores are so expensive; my camera cracked all because of an airlines security check which they never apologized for.

Sir please help me When the LCD is flipped out then its perfect but when I rotate and fix it back the camera then the menu screen appears vertically opposite...any help will be hearty welcome....
@@CrashC0D In that case, it's probable that you have the wrong model screen. I would suggest getting in touch with the company you purchased it from, they likely shipped you the wrong model.
I haven't experienced that specific trouble, try re-seating the ribbon cable that runs to the buttons. Make sure the brown flip lays flat and even. Also, check the ribbon for any tears.
@@trevornaraine3480 I found listings for both the back and the LCD by searching "eos 1500d back" on eBay. The glass appears to be sold as a complete assembly with the back plastic on that model.
David Molinari I wish I could, but I don't have the resources for that. My videos are made while repairing items that are brought into my shop. Whenever an interesting repair comes in, I film it. I've never had a customer want their camera completely torn apart haha.

I'm a freelance camera repair guy. Will recommend to peel off the protective film at the last moment possible to avoid finger prints and dust. Some LCD do not separate from the backlight as easily as this. Use a hair dryer or heat gun to heat up the adhesive holding the LCD
I have a brick-and-mortar store, where I fix electronics. I don't take work over the internet, but I'd recommend checking out a local cell phone repair shop, and sharing this video with them. If they can fix an iPhone, they can handle this repair.

Hi everything was working fine just had a cracked screen. I was able to replace screen but I can’t get it to turn on now. I took it apart several times trying to figure it out by it I can’t. Please help.
Did you make sure to close the battery door before trying to turn it on? There's a switch in the door that prevents it from turning on with the door open. Beyond that, the only thing I could suggest would be to remove and re-seat all of the ribbon connectors you can see, when the back is off; it's possible that one of them was shaken slightly loose during the repair, and isn't making a good enough connection.

Hi super helpful, but the replacement I bought, the smaller ribbon that is next to the big ribbon is a lot longer than yours? Will this be alright?
As long as the width is the same, the length shouldn't matter at all.
