i love watching these until i agree with a play cause i'd do the same thing and emongg immediately pauses and explains why thats not a good play lol
For me, it was the play he didn't make. When he didn't follow his Reaper into the room and got rightly complimented for it. 100% I know I wrongly follow the reaper there.
1 thing I've noticed on bastion is that the threat of turret form is almost effective as turret form. Obviously there is nuance and you want to use turret. But alot of the time tanks are saving a cool down for you or playing passive waiting in your turret
At that point you could've used it to kill someone rather than trading a big pushing tool for one other cooldown

Since if you start the fight with turret (which I see a lot of bastion players doing even in ranked ) the enemy team just won't engage the fight until turret has gone on
And basically now bastion lost his one single ability that actually makes it so he's able to deal dangerous amounts of damage
You should use it more so close up
Basically just get in their face and burst em down
If they run you follow
Or simply flank that's fun also
I think this strategy is more advanced than console gold. Maybe console diamond, should he reach it again.
I currently play in Diamond 2 as DPS on console and have a lot of experience in low Diamond since the rank resets: this guy definitely isn’t Diamond. Mechanics give it away

The reaction speed gives it away too. Hes moving at the pace of a gold lobby, if he was Diamond he would simply be carrying a lot more. Bronze to gold isnt that different but once you get to Plat and Diamond youll have Masters deranking to diamond, and Diamonds deranking to Plat. Plat to Masters is a much different game than bronze to Gold.
As a lower tier player who teams up with friends who are masters and above i am ok with players up to plat but as soon as i play against diamonds it's game over. Peek and your head gets taken off.
I actually don't think his mechanics are bad. He's just unaware of his surroundings at all times. I'm also diamond.
The question is, how in the blue hell the game decided this player was Diamond in the first place?? This dude just caused a lot people losses that shouldn't have happened because he was not in their rank.

They’re almost certainly playing with a lot of tilt. It certainly feels like they are trying extra hard to force plays in order to compensate, rather than reading the play and reacting.
I just think a lot of aspects of their game are regressed because of the tilt.
Yeah I think them focusing on losing 18 games puts on extra pressure on them which effects their game play
@craig361 Yes, it is console. But this dude has no situational awareness, bad ult usage, bad mechanics for ( even for gold), bad positioning. He is a silver at best and I am not trying to be mean. What probably happened is the game decided he was going to start with a gold rank, he won all of his placements matches, put him in diamond without considering his stats (damage and elims etc) because he obviously got super carried.
This was literally me the past two days (as a support/mercy main). I climbed to Gold 2, that being my peak, and then I deranked to Silver 3 (demotion prot from Silver 4). This season is kind of crazy for me. Went 8-26 W-L

1 bad things your doing is playing mercy in metal rank, she relies way too much much on teamates
saying this as a fellow mercy main, stop playing her in the metal ranks. she’s too reliant on her team and knowing how people in the lower ranks play, you’re not gonna have a fun time
Switching off of Ashe while Bob is out is top 3 worst plays I've ever seen.
I wanna understand the ult decision process if your idea is to ult the point: 3:58 1 on point, nobody engaging in battle, Bastion decides to ult. 7:25 4-5 on point, its team actually shooting, Bastion says nah

We need an entire tutorial on how to do good bastion ults because I'm sure 90% of the playerbase doesn't understand how to get value out of it.
This is a chronic case of, among other things, playing on TV speakers. Just zero sound awareness and direction.
I'd really love to get a review like this from emongg one day but unfortunately I'm in low masters and he doesnt typically touch high rank stuff unless its a LONG game or its someone with an ego
My thing is that I REALLY don't feel like I belong up here and every loss 100% feels like my fault and that I'm holding everyone back. Every win feels like I was carried or I was STRESSED the whole time to not mess up
If you Rein shatter off the map, it should be a feature that it slams everybody.
I made it to diamond 5 last season as support and lasted all of two matches lol. i'm still working on my positioning and stuff but it was fun while it lasted haha.

I wouldn't even call this guy gold 1. This is gold 3 gameplay. At least in plat they have a somewhat understanding of when to ult. This dude screwed up every single ult he had. That last ult made me cringe. Why ult when you have 3 dead and are running away?

review your vods, i promise they are just as silly as this. try watching someone elses perspective if you dont see it from yours as you're probably messing up in positioning so you're overwhelmed and focusing on too much at once. this makes games feel way sweatier as there is too much for you to keep track of

Athieno was a professional siege player
And jynxzi was just the best rank in the game on console while athieno was on PC
And surprisingly it came down to like a 2 game difference and keep in mind the other person was playing on console
And the other was an actual professional player
Or jynxzi V beaulo
Beaulo is considered to be the best siege player
And jynxzi still won like 7 rounds against him (it was like 10 round long game so 7/10 is fairly good against one of the best of all time )
And again it was console VS PC

If you solo queue you are destined to lose the majority of your games. There are 5 people on a team.. if one of those links are bad the whole chain falls apart. You only have a 1 in 4 chance of getting all competent people… that’s only 25 out of every 100 games. The odds are not in your favor for ever progressing alone.
If you lose the majority of your games while solo queue I have bad news for you: the problem is you.

That top 500 most likely wouldn't be able to carry if the enemy team would even be like plat
Because they'd be able to jump the supports and kill the DPS easily
Sure the DPS will still technically carry the game
But they most likely won't win the game
by this logic the enemy team has a way lower chance of all being "good". Assuming that you are this all powerful godlike being that never makes mistakes, like this level of coping implies, you should win the vast majority of your solo q games
