Thanks to your example, I have been to the cinema on my own for the first time in 80 years! Afterwards I bought a takeaway pizza which I had never done.! Flushed with success I have now booked myself a solo holiday. Thank you!
I’m trying to be courageous and get out of my comfort zone. New experiences have been thrilling. An awakening!!! Thank you sweet Margaret. As always you are an inspiration and a great motivator 😀
I think if you have been in your comfort zone for too long its usually difficult, when you decide to break character, But the first step is trying , so I will say you are on the right track
Thank you for the helpful ideas, Margaret. I also think that we thrive when we are in touch with ourselves - to be authentic, so that people could love us for who we really are. ❤
An example of thriving for me is the current huge snow storm that is moving across the U.S. Our entire family is in its path. We have a group email set up where we talk back and forth and encourage each other. I told my grown children and grandchildren that I am treating this like I am preparing for a wilderness expedition and my home is a remote mountain cabin! To thrive, we have to assume that there will be some hardships and challenges. We need to be ready for that. If the electric stays on and we all stay safe with just a few inconveniences, then we've met the challenge with success with gratitude. I journal most every morning and always find much to be grateful for. 💜🌞🌧☀👍
Happy New Year, Margaret! I am adopting your "Thrive in 25!" and look forward to this journey. 2024 was a bumpy year for me in quite a few ways and I'm ready to focus on my own growth. Thank you for the practical steps you outlined (I wrote them down to help keep myself on track along the way). Thank you for sharing your wisdom. You are appreciated by so many, including me.
Very good reminders and advice! One of my best bosses pushed me to "be comfortable being uncomfortable". Such great advice and it helped me dare to try new things!
I think this video is one of the most useful and interesting videos you have ever done! You are a great help to many people, I am sure! I wish you a wonderful 2025 full of satisfaction! 😊
Thank you so much Margaret. I will take this advice and make it my mission to 'thrive in '25'. After a very busy and challenging '24 I feel as if I need a different pace to this new year and this will be my yard stick as it were.
For 2025 I plan on eating healthier. I have also established a nice relationship with my P.A. Together we started out this year on a good note. Thank you Margaret for your compassion. Oh, and I started to we😂ar makeup again. Thank you.🙏 😅🎉😢😊Having a good cry has helped me.
This is such a helpful video, thank you Margaret. I am certainly going to work hard at thriving instead of feeling overwhelmed. Step by step, and enjoying the journey. Today I started sorting through all my old photos. There are so many I can let go with gratitude and just keep the ones that resonate. I've put it off for years. Will do a little bit at a time. Lots of other projects like this...I'm determined this will be a GOOD year!
One year I did an Experience/Memory Jar. Saved things like stubs from events, little thinks like registration paperwork from events, any small swag given to me. If I didn't have anything particular, I would just write out what was important that day on a sticky note and put it in the jar. It was really fun to review at the end of the year. I agree to Thrive we will have to work at it.
Thanks for your interesting thoughts Margaret. Could any Sisters help me with breaking my bigger goal down into smaller ones as the main goal isn’t something I can do for at least the next 2-3 years and I’m feeling a bit glum that it does need to take that long. My goal is to move house into something more suitable for my older age but as I say, not for another 2-3 years so in the meantime, I’m trying to work out what smaller goals I could set to help me achieve my main goal. 🙏
I've listen😂 with interest. As a physically disabiled senior without Internet access I would be grateful to hear how other seniors in my positiodeal with the social isolation that comes with disability.

Why not start with decluttering? Start small, one drawer or room at a time. This will make it easier when you do move. 😊
I also tried to watch the vision board and it said private 😢
I had a medical situation and had to go to the hospital - it will be rescheduled - my apologies!!
❤❤❤
I tried to watch Vision Board TH-cam. But the video was Private. 😢
I wonder if it was recorded so we can watch the recording?
🥰🥰🥰
