For a moment I thought I was the only one who still remembered the series. In my opinion I love its detective style, its holistic touch and the slow narrative it has. In addition to the fact that the protagonist is excellent, being at the same level as Ergo Proxy 🖤💜
I watched this series waaaay back in 2004ish on adult swim, and it's still one of my favorites. I agree with the remark about it being cozy at times! And great video as a whole! As someone who's recently returned to studying paganism and the craft, I really enjoyed the explanations of connections to lore and symbolism.
Not a series recommendation per se, but there's this British detective series Father Brown about a Catholic priest solving murders and in Season 5 Episode 3 a coven arrives in the village and a witch is murdered. Similarly, in FB spin-off Sister Boniface Mysteries Season 2 Episode 4 a local coven is discovered and Sister Boniface is investigating a witch's murder. Both are extremely fun!
