    As most seem to be missing this in the video description... Further testing has shown that the cover is, in fact, made of metal. See instagram.com/p/CSYzg4krVNs/

    Sure sounded like it was a metal top when you dropped it.

      word. That's aluminum for sure. Scratch the inside to check.

    It’s metal for sure, why would any heatsink be made of plastic? Must cost a lot (compared to injection molding plastic) to CNC the piece.

    • @typxxilps

      to make it look better as always cause I guess it is no metal, just plated plastic that looks better than it is except weight wise cause plastic will be lighter than a metal one.

    We used to put the piston from blown up nitro engines on our key rings, I wonder if we will do the same with blown vtx's if they look as good as the speedy bee😄

      can confirm, hooked my first tx800 to VCC and fried it, it now lives on my key ring

    Look like alu cover for cooling. But heat pad is so thick i don't think it help any.

    Will we see an update regarding the typical use case like picture quality and signal strength or range ?
    This was just about the pieces in the box and its connectors but not about its real world performance.
    I like the idea how they started to make things and that each comes in a box well packaged since the Kopilot appeared for the very first time in such box and packaging

    take multimeter and test it if it's metal cover, most of us sure it is

    • @typxxilps
      @typxxilps 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      based on the noise it made it sounded like plastic and using the multimeter might not really help if they had anodized the plastic with a thin layer of metal which for sure will let the power through but is not indicator that this is a full metal plate.

    • @YuriuSSS
      @YuriuSSS 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@typxxilps yes, it is anodized, but there's CNC mashined edges, so it has to beep on this edges)

    Its a nice VTX but 5v DC in is an anomoly on wing controllers (rather than a dedicated 9v rail) and inav support for irc tramp sucks....

  • @SpaceStickwithSpaceTick
    @SpaceStickwithSpaceTick 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Is it having a good manual a joke? I bought one and there is no where to find any information... Not using IRC and I thus cannot figure out how to change settings with the button...

    • @BenHelweg

      It's really confusing without proper instructions. I managed to work it out after looking at the diagram on their website. It works by press durations, so a short press configures channel, longer press band and longest is power setting. None will do anything (except pit mode) without unlocking it first. (10sec button hold).
      Boscam and maybe other bands are only possible to enter when power is set to 200mW or greater, which confuses things.
      Having the receiver powered on helps to find the channel you're on as although the lights blink the number corresponding, it's still hard to work out without visual feedback.

    Hi! I want to install PX4 with QGC in my Cube Orange to work with the MAVSDK, but I have some problems with the drivers. What version and how should I install PX4 in the cube orange?

    There is an error on the vtxtable json file on the speedybee site.
    Falue power level 3 and 4 is twice 600 and not 400 and 800.
    Very sloppy from speedybee.
    Hope they fix this.

      @@Painless360 I think I was wrong now.
      Irc Tramp protocol has no higher value than 600.
      The json file may well be correct.

      It should be value;
