Been doing this for a few years on and off and recently I have developed a problem by creating bubbles in the neck of the nozzle. This is new for me and wonder if you can offer the steps in tying the balloons so this does not happen?
I have had a bubble form in the neck occasionally. I think it helps to burp the balloon to ensure the air is out, and this extends the neck a bit to make it easier to tie. Good luck.
We don't have a formal course but I recommend that you start with this video for your very first balloon: Dog Balloon: th-cam.com/video/cTNxsjngWEM/w-d-xo.html After you master the dog balloon and its variations, you'll have the basic skills to expand your repertoire. You'll find more lessons on our playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLN6b4604KYh7mnjduzqS2x8xZYl_BYegD.html Best of luck and feel free to ask any questions that you may have.
I seem to always get my finger stuck in the balloon when trying the tulip twist, when I try to pull it out of the balloon, it either breaks or the air in the twist will go back into the rest of the balloon. Not sure if it’s the quality of the balloon or if it’s my technique..
I've had both situations happen. I think that it helps to gently twist your index finger as it's removed to gradually reduce the stress. If you twist too hard, however, you'll be performing the technique where you break off a piece of the balloon inside. Good luck and best regards.
This sometimes happens when the balloon is under inflated and too soft. The twists won't stay. I always recommend slightly under inflating a balloon when first learning to make the dog to make it easier. But this can cause problems if there's not enough air in the balloon. You may need to adjust the inflation to firm up the balloon. Another thing to try is over-twisting the lock twist. Instead of just a couple of twists, try four or five turns. One more thought: after the lock twist, try pushing air from the rest of the balloon towards the twist to shore it up. Hope that this helps. Thanks for writing.

The biggest problem I have is the balloon unravels.
