I distinctly remember watching this episode in the 7th Grade while on Christmas break. Always loved how every year AMC would include everyone who appeared on the show that year in the credits on their Christmas episodes.
It was so tragic that they blew the whole Greg & Jennie AND Tad & Dixie AND Jessie & Angie families to smithereens. Heck come to think of it they blew EVERY young couple's marriages to smitherrens! Soaps. Sheesh. And if the writers didn't do it they had Ray Gardener blow up the anchor families like the Martins & Wallingfords! And on Christmas no less!
Love the way soaps do Christmas and other holidays

This was the great heyday of All My Children!!
I love the old opening theme it was so haunting and romantic when they changed it it was so tacky
Thank you SO much for sharing this. What an incredible time for AMC and its fans… These characters were never bettered.
