My wife & I purchased the Huawei Y9 Prime because, over here in New Zealand, the specs are great for what we use it for. Storage 128GB, 4GB Ram, fairly good camera so we are very happy with this phone. The other thing is over here if you were to pick up a samsung with the same specs you would be looking at nearly double the price. That's not saying samsung aren't good phones they're great they were our go to phones. But sorry for nearly half the price for around the same specs, it's a no brainer.

You said sound is not that good, I can say that Huawei got greedy a bit with speakers on mid range phones, i remember testing P9 lite and p10 lite when they came out, speakers were damn good like 400$ phone, really loud, good balance, good quality, now i ve tested a couple at my friends - p20 lite, Honor 8X, Honor 10 lite, speaker can't even compare to those before.. Bad highs, loudness okayish, sounds low quality... I really would like them to improve that mid range speakers like they used to. Good review man, cheers.
I bought this to only play game. This unit isn't bad at all. The only downside for me is, the camera comes w a filter which is kinda off, I still like the rawness of iPhone cam tho. But overall, I like this. No complaints.

If you're after a notchless phone below P20K your options would be the Oppo F11 Pro, Vivo V15, and this Huawei Y9 Prime. This is the cheapest but not much cheaper than the V15. I think the F11 Pro is the best of the 3 and the price reflects this, but in light of this Huawei, the F11 Pro doesn't look worth it. It feels older too, because, well, it is.
