    It seems as if a lot of people struggle with the square in a square block. It is even easier with the square squared ruler, for sure. I look forward to your next video!

    So glad to finally understand why these typical instructions never work. I was oversizing the triangles but even then the square inside is not the correct size. I will be buying your ruler when able and remaking this quilt I'm making in a different colorway. It will be amazing when it's sewn correctly. I'm so glad to start to learn your stuff.

      Yes, the math on this is tricky and pattern designers are always a bit odd with the math on it. I am glad we can give you the tools you need to make the quilts that you want to make.

    I love the Square Squared tool! I'm trying to find the Studio 180 Unit Guide to download but can't find it. I have an old one that's pretty dog-eared. Would you be able to provide a link to it, please?

      Scroll all the way to the bottom of the free downloads page and it will be at the top of the list at the bottom. Click on the words Studio 180 Desing Unit Guide and it will bring up the most recent version we have up. deb-tuckers-studio-180-design.myshopify.com/pages/free-downloads

      It looks like there might be a problem with her website right now. I am not able to get on it. If you are on Facebook you could try messaging her. I don't see a public email on her page. Once her website is squared away you should be able to find the pattern again. As it does show up in my google search, I just can't access her page.

    When you say finished block do you mean sewn in size? I need a 3x3 block before sewing in so do I need to do a 2.5" block on the ruler? I'm so confused.

    • @DebTuckersStudio180Design
      @DebTuckersStudio180Design  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Penny, It can be confusing, especially when designers use the terms intermixed. When we say finished we mean when all the seams are sewn into the project and you measure it. So for a 2" finished unit, it will measure 2.5" on the cutting mat. If you needed something that finished to 2.5" in a quilt measuring from sewn seam to sewn seam then yes you would want it to measure 3" on the cutting mat before going into the project. For something that measures 2.5" finished you would want to look at our Half Inch Square Squared tool. You can always email us with your pattern and can help you figure it out there as well.

      @@DebTuckersStudio180Design yes I would love to use one of your rulers for half square triangles. Wow, I just read what I wrote I was trying to watch while I was still sleeping. I just bought the flying geese ruler but I watch Nana’s journey quilting video and she always uses your rulers for her half sq triangles,she quilts beautiful. She uses two of your rulers almost always.
