      I've used this tech on my own family member photos and the AI always gets it wrong. So basically you input a photo and the AI makes a video of it. But as soon as the video begins, the person's face becomes something different, even if only slightly, but enough for us to know the face in the video is NOT the face of the person in the photo. We humans can recognize faces so well and can tell small differences.

    • @kennyslg8914

      RIGHT. I've always had the same thought. It often feels like they're all just still lifeless portraits even though we know they lived complex lives just like we do.

      Lincoln was amazing here, but as he smiled and moved his face it began to look less like him.
      All the theories in here on why he didn't smile in pics plus the believers' thumbs ups are hilarious. There can only be one right answer. And I doubt it was depression. The exposure time seems the most logical, but after looking it up it's just a sign of the times and not everyone thought smiles were appropriate for a portrait. Please google before guessing and try not to contribute to all the false info by giving thumbs ups to those who are incorrect. YT is rampant with several thumbs up on wrong information. 🙄🤡🤡

    • @DerLeser2201
      @DerLeser2201 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, this has nothing to do with a time machine but is simply falsifying historical sources... The movements are all simply made up by the AI and in no way reflect the reality behind these images. Anyone who thinks that's good really has no idea about source criticism, the dangers behind it and about history in general.

      The problem is. There is no way AI can capture the emotion of someone in a 100 year old picture. So the AI just assumes they are mostly happy photos when in reality they are not. It's trying to predict what a human might do in that situation. But it cant possibly get it 100 percent right. Therefore it is deceitful in nature.

      In some cemeteries, you can have a small screen on your loved one's grave site, that will play a clip of the deceased when they were alive. The family picks some footage they have and it's uploaded to the screen that's right on the headstone...or door if they're in a mausoleum. They're called "digital tombstones", and they're actually pretty cool.

      Even though they aren't perfect, they're perfect enough to let our imagination fill in any of the gaps,
      even more accurately than the original photos could! Not to mention, they're more informative also. Too cool!

    It was really special seeing Abraham Lincoln smiling so sweetly like that. Just before he was murdered, he and his wife Mary Todd were very happy at that point in their lives. The Civil War was over. There would be no more endless fields littered with dead bodies across the nation. America had reached a turning point, and there was at light at the end of the tunnel. This stunning AI video makes me think of Honest Abe as a caring, loving father, husband, and friend to all who love liberty and justice for ALL American citizens.
