- Jared talks about the future of Supernatural spin offs and his thoughts on the development of the prequel.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Jared Padalecki (Walker, Supernatural) returns this week to share the challenges of transitioning into Walker and out of Supernatural all the while wanting to retire from being on screen entirely. Jared gets candid about his work ethic and attributes it to the guilt he felt after an embarrassing story during his time on the Gilmore Girls. We also talk about upcoming prequels, having Jensen Ackles direct an episode of Walker, and why he needs to pour himself into every character he portrays.

Jared Padalecki talks about his reaction to the Prequel and the future of Supernatural #insideofyou #spn
I just love that whatever happens, each time Jared or Jensen get asked about being on board with something related to Supernatural, like reboot, prequel, etc. they are always like YES! I guess it shows how genuinely they really loved these characters and the show.
That, and that they haven't had much major success since.

What I love about these two is that even if they're not biologically related, they're basically like brothers. It's like a marriage, but a bond that I dont think anything in the world would end their friendship and brotherhood. J2 are family. Anyone would be when u spent that much time together, playing best friends and brothers. They love each other and its clear the way they talk about each other..
Cringe

Or any group u consider urself part of? If they had I'd get the addititude but liking their bromance isnt wrong. I think we have way too much hate towards men nowadays and treat men poorly. It must be difficult having every word and action magnified publicly. I think Jared and Jensen are two lovely guys. Both happy with their lives and it shows
Being famous seems to be more of a curse than anything these days because of the availability and access to both speak publicly to pretty much the entire world but also have those words scrutinized by the entire world depending on what is said. Unfortunately though most of the time, most people Blow everything that a person says completely out of context and make a huge mess out of nothing for that person.

I definitely have reacted too quickly myself. It just shows it is bc he cares so much about Jensen and supernatural. This was a huge part of his life. People need to remember celebrities are human and sometimes you need to put a shoe on the other foot
I’ve never watched supernatural but this dude the only thing I ever saw him in apart from being in that was Friday 13th so I get it
If he cared about either he wouldn’t have done it in public especially with Jared knowing exactly who his fans are and how they react. The fact that he didn’t get sue for Tortious intent is a miracle. Doing what Jared did and still does to this day with keeping those tweets up can be looked at him poisoning fans against Jensen and The Winchesters. When Jensen’s own aunt has to go to Jared’s twitter to defend Jensen against death threats and lies Jared went to far what he did was a friendship ending.
Do you know an active member of Trumps administration was defending Jared during this time on his Twitter? If you want proof of how bad he was Trump’s people thought he was the right one!
I don't think anyone was at fault. It was just a series of unfortunate events and I am glad they were able to move past it. A small misunderstanding is not worth their friendship and I'm glad they did not let it stand in their way.
What is Jared talking about here? I missed it.
@@caseyw1286 the info about the supernatural prequel that Jensen produced was made public before he intended it. Jared was reasonably upset that he hadn't been informed about a project connected to Supernatural before it was made public. They then straightened things out with Jensen explaining that he was superstitious about the project and didn't want to inform anyone but the execs at the studios and networks before it was greenlit.
th-cam.com/video/wIfCvlyRGSA/w-d-xo.html
Here, this video will help you out.
Not sure how it’s just a misunderstanding, Jared is still not involved in the project. You can tell Jared is still upset and rightfully so. Jensen was talking to a producer about an idea where Dean would be involved and Jensen involved as a producer but Sam and Jared are out. It’s messed up
@@TheAwesomeness1123 i think jared didn't get involved because he was busy as hell with his shows. He was just upset that he wasn't clued in and Jensen wasn't able to clue him in because the info leaked before he intended it to.
@@TheAwesomeness1123 He isn't upset but uncomfortable because everyone keeps reminding them of something that happened nearly 2 years ago and they are wanting to forget.
Wow, Jared was actually upset over the prequel series stuff. I originally chalked it up to a cheeky tweet taken way too seriously by everyone who's not Jared or Jensen. But listening to him, it does sound like there were some hurt feelings. Glad to hear they're still close and working through it.
Jensen explains it on his episode
Yeah he really was. But they're pretty much actual brothers and they will fight and come back together
Imagine putting yourself through 15 years of all of that work and then being not even told that it's starting again without you I'd be pissed too
Jared is a Cancer, they get their feelings hurt easily, you could tell he let his emotions win in that famous tweet. But I’m glad they worked it out
Cheeky? Have you read all the tweets? The Gutted one? The promptly deleted, but not forgotten, Et tu Brute?
I honestly think that Jared had a right to be upset. This series will be a part of the Supernatural franchise. He's been every bit a part of that franchise and making it what it is today, as Jensen. He should've been brought in on the prequel series at the same time as Jensen.
The way I heard Jensen tell it (it may have even been from "Inside of You") it was little more than an idea he had submitted and didn't even know if it would go anywhere. Well, it got approved and announced without him knowing - while he was busy on a production set, no less, when he didn't have access to his phone etc - so by the time he found out it was announced and everyone includng Jared were like "what the hell" several hours had gone by. It's not that he was intentionally keeping Jensen out of the loop, it was just still very very early stages when it was made public.
@@hellomark1 you're completely wrong. When jensen pitched that idea to the network, Pedowitz said he wouldn't let this air unless sam and/or dean is a part of it in some way. That's when jensen was set to play dean as narrator. In conclusion, the show was well on its way and the network was involved. Plus, it's stll wrong to let jared know after everything has been solidified and contractually going forward because that just extra cuts jared out. SPN belongs to BOTH leads equally and one of them going behind the other one's back and keeping him in the dark about this project for about/more than a YEAR is off in its very concept. Jensen never brought jared to the table and letting him know about this show after a year of development is still not bringing him to the table. It's not like jensen had an idea and floated it to people. No. The whole network was involved. Scripts were made. And jared still knew nothing. The right time to include jared was when jensen had the idea, which was before the spn finale even aired. He watched jared say good-bye to spn knowing he was on his way to bring it back. Just behind jared's back.
@@Lousybro Wow you have it completely wrong. Jensen and Danneel started their own company
They had an idea and showed Kripke to get his approval they then pitched their idea to the studio. If they said no one would have known only Jensen, Danneel, Kripke and Robbie.. Studio said yes and released it.. He didn't have a script, crew or actors. He asked Robbie Thompson to be his runner and executive producer partner before pitching his idea. But that was all it was an idea. If supernatural was such a big deal to Jared why didn't he do it first instead of Walker. Jensen has always wanted to work together on another Supernatural reboot with Jared and said so from the time they ended Supernatural. Jared has no rights to Supernatural they are both actors and that's all. They own their own Companies not partners just good friends.
@@traceykeevers7151 Yup, that's what I heard to.

No matter what...I'm glad you are okay after the accident. I'm hoping that ya'll remember to be brothers. They fight, but in the end, there's love there. It's all of the other stuff that messes up relationships.
They've been so close to each other for so long you'd think even years down-the-line they would still be a close. They would tell each other about projects they're working on and this is something they both shared for 15 years and had in common. I just don't see how he couldn't have told him directly about this and the way he found out, I mean anyone would be hurt.
From what I remember said in Jensen's episode, the studio was keeping everything tightly under wraps. In that stage of development you're not really allowed to even say that you're working on something. Someone then came along and was about to spoil the whole reveal, so they released the info about it beforehand to get ahead of any leaks. Jensen didn't know they had released anything until a little while later bc he was on set for something else and away from his phone. When he saw what was trending on twitter he started thanking everyone who was congratulating him. If he had been told beforehand that they were releasing the info he definitely would have told Jared before anything came out to the press.
@@adamclary2867 But don't you think even between their hectic schedules they could have done a video call to eachother and Jensen could have told Jared to keep this on the down low but I have a project I'm working on that will help contonue the fictional world we developed for 15 years on our show. It won't be centered around us so there's no real way for us to come back and be on film. I'm just going to do the voice over narration at the beginning of each episode. Just don't let anyone know because it might put the kibosh on the project.
@@knightrcer Yes, I agree. Plus, if you have a problem with your "brother," you call him first. You don't post a dramatic response on social media. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
Jared said they hadn't talked for over three months. Both were busy. Jensen was in lockdown in a new town Toronto, new crew, new actors to get to know and having a heavy exercise regime for The Boys. "Link up" was the right terminology. Love both Sam & Dean. They need both to tell the story.
He's got a good point. As much as it sucks you don't know if your relationship is true until you've gone through some stuff with that person. My best friend and I kind of avoided talking about a lot of stuff then we went on this road trip where we'd stop off camping and so we were unable to go off and do our own thing. One day out of nowhere we get into this massive argument over nothing but we couldn't go to our separate corners so we had to talk it out. She's now the strongest partner that I've got in this life and we're coming up on 15 years since we first met.
First time watching supernatural. On the 5th season and I love it.
Bring Supernatural back. I love these guys!
For real though dude, I cant imagine being a part of something for 15 years and finding out they're making decisions about this thing I care so much about
i get it but they don't own the rights/brand so it's not really theirs, right? it's difficult, i'd be in the same place
They were in austin at the Kalahari. My brother works there. We be meeting all the actors and actresses
This sounds to me like these guys will be back together as Dean and Sam (maybe fighting demons in the afterlife) in the future. I hope my wife, kids, and I are around for it. I was an adult when this show started, young adult, watching with my mom who had a major crush on Dean and she would get payback on all my step-dad's comments on hot women in shows. Lol. She'd tease him about how good looking both Sam and Dean were. Fast forward maybe 2 years later and I am married, watching with my wife, and on occasion we'd go watch an episode with my mom and step-dad. Eventually my mom decided not to reup her satellite bill and stopped watching but I gave her recordings to watch (she did a few). Eventually she passed away unexpectantly and I feel I was robbed of some good wholesome family time with her. But my wife and I, both sons (now 21 and 15) caught up and finished the show. I was really disappointed with a lot of the final show. In some ways it was OK, but if you've had a lot of real life loss of life and family members I just didn't want to see Dean and Sam pass away, at all. I am hoping, at some point, we get to see them together again. This is all just personal preference. I know in their real life they have their own families, etc.. But they seemed to enjoy the fans, working together, the cult following, and their entire cast more than any cast of actors I have ever saw. Just got my fingers crossed we see them, maybe even as a series again.
👍🏿sorry about your Mom. Dude you and your family have SPN blood in your veins. Your are 3 generations strong❤❤❤
There's a prequel coming out, its revolves their parents. Who they were, how they met, and how they got into hunting, etc.
Agreed my parents passed in 2014
You were a young adult when Supernatural started. Now you're in a retirement home.
They had 15 seasons of it. The quality was all over the place. SPN overstayed its welcome a long time ago, no matter how much of a guilty pleasure the show is for me.
If Sam or Dean comes back, they should be supporting characters. I think their story is done, Dean should only really appear if there is some time travel shenanigans or something like that. Sam could come back as a Bobby type character though

we need a supernatural movie!
Fuckin oath straight up needs to be done !
Of course we need one! Or two... Or a trilogy! Would actually go to the theater to see it!
We don't... Guys, let the series die already. We the fans have destroyed any oppotuoof the show being legendary because we asked for way too many seasons already, they squeezed out episodes and seasons which shouldn't of existed, the show will remain garbage because it's crap due to way too many seasons. They should of stopped after beating the devil in 5 I believe. We all got into the earlier seasons because they were interesting, facing urban legends and monster stories done right but not to frightening... Then we introduced demons and angels which just destroyed the show. The show got so bad that we'd chase the same demon or angle for a season and a half... Yeah, that's a season and a half of hearing the same demon/angel name over and over again. Less is more, this show could of been legendary leaving fans wanting more. Something to be proud of who we could of shared with our children but because we got greedy and over cooked this meat, the show is laughable now... The show was so bad they had to kill off Dean in the most dumbass way imagine and got a spin off which is horrible, makes no sense to the timeline and completely retcon. As soon as Castiel was introduced I knew the show had lost its way badly to which we never recovered. That's not the actors faults... That's us, we did that. We took away any opportunity to have this show go down as a legend... Now it's just a laughing stock. You can't even say the show had a good run anymore the show is just overly beaten down, way too many characters on screen, winchesters die and come back way too much to feel any risk, the dark tone left after season 3 which honestly ending in season would of been the best move possible, going back in time, angels, demons... The only real cool storyline was demon Dean and they ruined that real fast. Why do you want to keep beating the show down further? Let it go... The show is a joke because of us, legendary status gone forever because we wanted more dumb shot, the show got so bad they made Chuck God lol really...??? There's a reason season 1-3 are regarded as the best the series had to offer. Somewhere along the way the show lost its way like Xbox one on its way to the console wars yet we demanded the series to walk on one leg to the finish line ruining it's self and ending in self destruction. And now you want film and another season??? Wow... Y'all just don't care about Supernatural do you 😔 R.I.P Supernatural season 1-3. The only series fans ruined

@@joshuahawlena When Jensen was working on the prequel The Winchesters, it was very early on so he hadn't told anyone about it, not even Jared. Fortunately, he talked to Jensen who explained that wasn't what happened and they're both fine now.
Love you jared❤️
What about something like “the Winchester Diaries” where you get a more intimate look from either perspective and they can still both have a part? Idk just my two cents and Jared was definitely being careful with his words because the whole Twitter thing got blown way out of proportion.
the twitter thing definitely blew up in jared's face when it wasn't even his fault. jared made those tweets after there were lies about him that "he was too busy texas rangering" (eric kripke's tweet that he deleted later and apologized for assuming jared knew about the prequel) implying that jared was too busy with walker for spn. Imagine, in that very moment, when you just learned that a show you've been working on for more than a decade is being brought back without your knowledge by no one but your best friend and coworker that you built that show with. And have lies being made up about you that "you were too busy" when in reality, you weren't even brought to the table.

I have been a fan of Supernatural since the first season, way back when it was on the WB. But after having seen the trailer for The Winchesters, I believe Jared is better off not being a part of this. The whole tragedy of the Mary’s death with John being blindsided by the supernatural and dragging his two little boys into the hunting lifestyle is now being portrayed as something completely different. I’m disappointed that Jensen would do something like this.
I agree. I’m very disappointed that all of the supernatural canon has been thrown out for this prequel.
Copyright. Thats why. They didn't want to or won't afford to follow the canon of the Story: because the fandom already has a good Headcanon of how and why Those things happened. (Mary was Dead and John is a major as* jerk)
I personally thought the trailer for The Winchester's looked awesome. It isn't difficult to at some point have John forget everything. His father was in that life, so he knew something of that life and obviously forgot it anyway.
@@missypa if it was a copyright issue, they wouldn't even be able to use supernatural character names. I'd bet that kripke is getting his cut.
@@marymartindale884 Good point! I didn't even think about the tie in to all of the memory erasures that went on with supernatural that characters found out about way after the fact. Thank you I actually may watch with a nod to that and an open mind ❤️
My issue with the prequel tv-series is from a narrative standpoint it doesn't really offer anything to me and goes against the lore. For example, the trailer has John learn about the world of the Supernatural through Mary when the Supernatural series already established that when John dated Mary he never knew about that world. And I know somebody will say "an Angel can wipe John's memory at the end" to try and justify the series existing and my retort to that would be "well then what's the Main Objective of the series then"? By erasing John's memory you reset John with no character development making the series' existence completely pointless. The episode "In The Beginning" from season 4 sets up the events to come in 1983 there was no need to do a prequel series at all.
You've got two options: either don't watch it and ignore that it exist. But if you do that, please don't whine every time the prequel is mentioned. Or give it a chance and wait and see how they're going to explain and explore everything. Otherwise, you just sound like a broken, whiney record, complaining about something that hasn't aired yet. Jensen clearly said multiple times that there will be twists and turns. If you don't want to give it a go, don't. Just ignore it and move on.
@@NatalieWinchester THIS!
@@NatalieWinchester regarding your "two choices" I'm sorry that my prior comment wasn't crystal clear to you. I've seen the interview with Jensen and his wife on this prequel series. Even he was asked if Angels would ever show up in the series which he didn't refuse. Jensen knows no matter what twists and turns that they have happened in this prequel. All roads lead to John having his memory wiped that's not a broken, whiney record that's a fact. Or they could just not give a shit and do whatever they want with the show and contradict the Supernatural series. So since I need to explain it to you as if you're five years old I'm not watching this show. And trust me I'm not one of those "they'll watch it anyway" people. When I say that I won't be watching a tv series or movie I keep my word.
There are two ways this series can go down the first assuming that they have the series fit in. With the time travel episodes at some point in 1973, John proposes to Mary. This means that they have at least the first season of John being a hunter before having his memory wiped. Then the problem will exist of Mary lying to John every week about her activities as a hunter. There are only so many times they can recycle that excuses on the show. Before viewers will go "okay John's not stupid eventually Mary's lies will catch up with her.". The second option would be to say screw it and do their own thing with the show. Regardless of the show going against what they've already established in the past.
If it is a memory wipe then why? what happened that was so bad that they wiped their memories. Or could bring in Chuck.. If this is the case it won't be answered in the pilot I just have to watch and enjoy the show.
Jarod has the Walker reboot.and is working on the Walker prequel.so both have slot on there plates.
both jared& jensen r still young - they should work on it until 50 and then review it then but they can make the last finale a dream and just come back they are 40 now and 40 is the new 30.

He should have called him instead of airing a grievance to the world 2) His bar fight a while back when he was drinking and 3) hisjoyride/car crash with his cousin. Jared is not a bad person but there is more to his personality than the mild mannered demeanor he portrays in interviews. 4) He mention having "payments" or worries over debt when he should be super rich, not just rich. Something is amiss here. Remember Jensen is the one who initially wanted season 15 to be the last year, not Jared.
Jared threw Jensen under the bus for Walker. The show is produced by the same people as Supernatural, shows don’t get greenlit overnight so Jared had been working on Walker for months, when Jensen was unhappy with Deans death and went to Jared for help, Jared sided with the studio. Jared looks after his own interests first, why shouldn’t Jensen do the same, after all Dean was the reason Supernatural ran for as long as it did, he went from the support character to the man focus of most series.
They are allowed to live separate lives, with separate projects. Just because you work together on one series, doesn't mean your tied for life.
Thank you!!! Its so weird how you have the only comment with this point. Jared definitely overreacted.
@@CodeNameKrm they're both water signs, they are a sensitive bunch. I get it, because I am too. But, so much is learned from being independent! 💞
No one is saying that they can't move on to different projects without the other but when it's a project directly tied to a show they both were main actors on and have put their souls into for more than 15 years, it should be basic manners of Jensen to at least inform Jared about the project. And that can be applied to anything, imagine Ian Somerhalder doing a Tvd prequel called "The Salvatores" without even informing Paul Wesley. Or imagine Emma Watson and Rupert Grint doing a Harry Potter prequel with themselves casted as Hermione and Ron without even informing Daniel Radcliffe. That would just be weird and there's no way to deny that.

so they actually acted like Sam And Dean for a minute.
Why isn't Jared acknowledging the fact that a few months after the series finale Jensen said that he wants to do a revive for Supernatural in 4 years that could very well involve Sam and Dean as we know just because a character is in heaven doesn't mean that they are completely gone.... the way the finale end it was pretty obvious that's Sam Winchester's kid would take over a possible spin-off he would be the major character to continue the Winchester Legacy. A idea like that would make sense because the prequel is to show us how the Winchester Legacy started, the spinoff with Sam Winchester son could be a continuation of how the Legacy of the Winchesters would continue long after Sam and Dean..
most importantly since we know that Castiel is back after the series finale he could even play a key role in it in a spinoff. The fact that Misha Collins is going to be Harvey Dent in the new show Gotham Knights that is an indication that he could return and they spin off because Jensen wants to do a major Supernatural Project a evive in at least five years.. a lot of this information was confirmed by the TH-camr Wayward Winchester he provided interviews as well as actual social media posts about their possible revive he was the first who announced the prequel originally the prequel was announced on Twitter it wasn't announced at the CW at least a year before the idea was sent to the CW
Because they both talked about doing a short series or movie reviving the brothers story. They talked about it for years and years. And yes Jensen and Jared did talk about it again when Jared suggested an origin story that Jensen would develop and he would produce.
Jared seems like a very reactive person, and will word vomit the first emotions he feels. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it can blind you to what's really going on. So I love that Jensen called him out on it and told him to basically stop being dumb because Jensen would never do that to him. And they worked it out in the end, which is the best part. And I fully agree with Jared that until you go through a hardship in the relationship you're in you'll never know how strong the bond really is. I'm very much like Jared, I will react to the first emotion I feel, and thankfully I have a big sister who will talk me back down to earth, and remind me what's really true.
My favorite show that I literally grew up watching that and Buffy and Charmed
They are Bro's, they were always going to sort this out 🙏 They even became closer because of it 💚 Im 59 and me and my friend since 15, have argued and fallen out, however we are so much closer because of it 💓 Bless them and their families 🧡💞
Male friends are often seen as less important than female friends. Often, when a guy gets married, he never sees his single friends again.
I'd love to see more of Sam and Dean.
Jared Jensen I just sent out a prayer request to Uriel for help with your lives and all actors of supernatural and that he light all of our ways too ✌🏽
Jeez! If these guys have moved on from this and are still friends, everyone else should too. But nah, there are still some people taking one of the boys’ side, as if these people have never messed up in their friendships with people. Everyone is a saint! 🙄 Grow up! And realise everyone is human!
I think it will be great as anything 70s is
Hope they come back
Supernatural was great and a reboot with jared and jensen and some returning characters would be awesome
They made 70 million each during Supernaturals run. HOW BIG IS THEIR MORTGAGE?!!!!
Think he was just saying that so normal people could relate. Let's be honest here, celebrities all buy their houses outright and don't even need to think about mortgages!
I like this guy.
I'm going to be honest... I love Jensen, but his excuse was pretty lame. Even if you don't tell everyone for fear of jinxing it, its probably a good idea to tell your co-star and close friend for 15 years - who honestly was as much a part of the show as Jensen.
It's more than just not telling him that was suspect to me... why didn't he involve him the second the idea popped into his head? He not only completely left Jared out of the entire thing he also completely ignored and left Sam out of it. Also, why would Dean even care about two people that weren't even his actual parents? They were AU characters. Why Dean would come down from heaven for two random AU people makes no sense at all.
They really are brothers they might disagree and fight but at the end of the day they still love each other to death 💯
WHat he meant to say is "...I jumped the gun on that one. I should have called him instead of posting something on Twitter..."
Oh for God's sake.....BRING SUPERNATURAL BACK! THE AUDIENCE IS DEFINITELY THERE. Love these guys.
it would be took awkward with jared and jensen working together to bring back spn now, that jared wasnt informed about the prequel.
You can't blame him. I mean he has just as much ownership over the show as Jensen and I feel like the onus was on him to let Jared know what was going on. Is Jared supposed to ask him every other day if they're planning something? I'll be honest, the prequel is bitterly disappointing and I'm kind of glad that Jared isn't involved. I think it is kind of sullying to SUpernatural brand in a way and Jared doesn't have to be involved with that. Like if he'd tried to push his way into it then have to discuss it at a convention and try and put a positive spin on a mediocre show.
When Jared goes back in time and does anything for the show other than being Sam you can say this but that, but until then SPN became Jensen's show once he filmed his like 4th episode. You don't spend almost 4 months alone with the producers and crew, and not take more ownership of the project, and that's an estimate for his entire run as a director, Jensen touched the show in ways Jared wouldn't or couldn't due to lack of ambition, or mental health, or he just didn't want to give more than he was as Sam.
Not only has Jensen become part of the fabric of the show creatively, he was the heart of the show, the one cast member can't stop gushing about, the ones that know who Jensen really is, the guy that will take over a convention to help a friend, a man that will take on more of his job so his friend can rest, a man that had whole episodes to himself due to Jared's needs for a break, a guy that Jared sold down the river for a blurry baby momma and kid named to pander to the lower depths. Sure hope it was worth it Jared.
The only credit I give Jared for going above and beyond is when Jensen first started conventions he was a great buffer, but once Jensen played his guitar and found a way to to cope with anxiety and stress of being in that setting, He didn't ned Jared for that anymore, he became a different person. He was so open, he started sharing his life with us, and his family and Jensen said that his kids opened his heart so that he could open it to us.
We get it. You worship Jensen and hate Jared. 🙄🙄@@highd12
It's over, just let be done. Only time will happen and see how it comes along. Let them work on things.
The ending of Supernatural was embarrassing. The whole Chuck /God arch was a bad choice- incoherent, inconsistent, stupid.
They lost some of their good writers and turned the show into something completely different. What a shame.
I'm still watching. It is 15 season's. They are at least 21 at the start so they have to be 35 at the end. Can't wait
@@Mydogslove2laugh the last several seasons were embarrassing, lazy, inconsistent and confused.
@@TheProdigalMeowMeowMeowReturns I believe it
I'm writing a script rn that'll bring back Jensen and Jared to their full potential but it'll be a very different setting. I'll say for now God forgot an earth. Hopefully I can submit it when done.
If they were to play as Sam and Dean again, it would be a vastly different show. Their respective characters fulfilled their/change the course of their destinies. A whole new story would have to be told.
can we just get a supernatural animated series. its be so easy to do, and could really go all the way with the dark aesthetic
That's already been done.
It's been so, so long now and I still can't get used to seeing Lex Luthor with hair anytime I see Michael lol...their podcast is so good btw
When I saw the title I thought it was about the Walker prequel and forgot about Supernatural.
For all of those who say go watch Jensen interview on Rosenbaum's podcast, Jensen explains everything. No, he doesn't. What he does is lie and make excuses for himself. He never takes responsibility. Per his own admission him and Danneel had the idea about the prequel during pandemic shutdown. This means that when they shot SPN finale Jensen had been thinking about it for weeks. When the news came out on Deadline, the project had been in the works for 1 year. This is not a project in its early stage. He would have had plenty of time to tell Jared and if he couldn’t, Danneel or Rob Thompson could. Ultimately, he throws “Jared was drunk when he twitted” (paraphrasing). As if the problem was Jared’s reaction rather than his own actions.
And I am well aware Jensen doesn’t owe fans any apology and that maybe him and Jared are working things out, but as a fan of SPN, I am disgusted by his behaviour and I won’t support any of his project anymore.
They could bring him in, in later seasons? Like dean talking to Sam about their parents?
I think Jensen would love to bring Jared and his other SPN friends in. I don't think in the pilot as it's mainly getting crew and actors to come together. And to establish the main characters in the pilot.
The more I hear them talk about this, the more I detect permanent damage to their relationship. Yeah, they're saying all these lovely things about each other, but they're both so tense when they say it. If you've truly gotten past an issue with a close friend or loved one, you tend to be able to talk about it with a very relaxed disposition, and smooth tone. They're very stilted and rambly, and I just don't get the sense that they'll ever be the same.
I don't agree. What you say is sonfar from reality.
If there was something that caused a misunderstanding and some pain, that was magnified by media and people like you who have questioned their good faith since the first moment they made up, how could you possibly be relaxed and cheerful while talking about it? You need to be careful and pick every word you say cause you will be analyzed by everyone. I dint find them particularly anxious though. Jensen was very cool, Jared is always rambling a bit when he talks about sensitive topics.
They are just being themselves and if you watch them at the conventions, they are totally genuine and spontaneous.
Obviously at first they had to explain their actions to people and that's always weird. They never laugh about serious stuff that happen to them, they just tell you the truth
@@ciotolik fair enough, maybe you're right. But then again, maybe you're not.
@@NickFisherman well sure, there are many things in life I can be wrong about lol
One thing is that if I have a bad argument with a friend or my husband I am not happy and relaxed when I talk about it, but surely it doesn't compromise my relationship with them when it's over and we have mad up.
Second thing is that I follow every con, every video (yep, I'm a fan-atic... I'm not denying it!) And I see how they behave towards eachother... it's as natural, sweet, funny and brotherly as always.
Maybe people should just accept that celebrity make mistakes, their relationships are inspiring but not perfect and that we all make mistakes but we wouldn't have a family anymore if this changed our relationships forever!
@@ciotolik well, since you're such an expert-and I don't mean that in a mocking way-how much have they been seen together since this all went down?
@@NickFisherman a lot, really.
They have been attending conventions every two weeks and have talked about the fact that they are working in two different states (Jensen in New Mexico) and they meet every time Jensen is back in Austin. They have been to a few fighting matches, Jensen has been working on Walker's set and will again. They are working on their impalas together to take them to shows.
They've been talking a lot about how their relationship has changed now that they can't see eachother as much as before and so they focus their conversations and the times they can see eachother on catching up and sharing things. They also said that they thought they had covered pretty much every topic in the 15 years together, but now they have discovered a new career path and Jensen went to Jared when he needed advice about producing. They talk about having at least one person who has your back and you can blindly trust.
They have organized Cliff's party and decided to put the children in the same school, even if Jensen has moved a bit further but always in Austin.
Then they mentioned other things they did together when Jensen came back home (he was jn Toronto, then New Orleans and now Albuquerque).
They keep joking and teasing eachother at the conventions, but they look a bit more mature... the end of the show has changed them and the way they are, but not around eachother. They are a but more grounded maybe?
They even prepared pranks for the time spent on Walker's set and a touching speech Jared gave in front of the crew.
It was quite moving when Jensen defended Jared during an emotional moment in front of the public not long ago and they have recently had another emotional (in a "manly way" lol) moment a couple of weeks ago talking about their friendship.
They also talked about the fact that administering the distance isn't too difficult because they have ever been keeping their relationships with family, friends and kids, with a limited chance ti spend time together, so they are used to this. They repeated many times that it's easy cause they know eachother so well that they don't feel the gap between the moments together and can still read eachother's minds.
Jensen was the first one who received a call when Jared had covid again, he was very kind.
They constantly share threads and texts and games they do on the phone on a daily basis.
In the meantime they have talked about how they can understand eachother in a way that nobody can do (and many details...) so they want to work more together and there are some little projects.
The most important one is that they want to produce whatever comes out as a sequel of the show but they agreed that they have to have full control on the plot, the crew etc because they only trust eachother with the show.
Apart from this, usual supportive messages for their jobs... Jared has also been on the prequel set offering himself as a source for the show.
Considering that they are two independent men, with families and jobs in different states... I'd say they share a lot
PS I've just come across this link and that was a coincidence so I hope you don't mind me for sharing.
4 or 5 years ago they said this: their first fight (in season one or 2)was the milestone of the beginning of their friendship because the conflict either breaks it or proves it worth and strong.
Basically Jared said the same things... he didn't make up this thought because of this hiccup.
He has always thought it, and Jensen too.

honestly I wish I had a friend like Jensen if I was Jared you cannot closer to another person than they are
Did he just refer to himself in the 3rd person...?
Well said Jared! ❤
Car payments? You telling me after 15 seasons, ya'll didn't have enough cash to just buy a car outright! 😂 Get the fuck outta here with that shit. Smh..
Amen! Did this guy throw his millions out the window? After 15 years, he should be super rich, not just rich.
supernatural is the perfect exemple of wanting to get more money on a serie that did well and ended well. and like the ones they tried to do before them they will flop as well.wanting to do a serie prequel is never as good idea most of the time when you want to do something because either want to make more money or because your bored out of your mind of doing same stuff for many years and miss it and cat let go is never a good idea
Walker is popular and doesn't even follow canon at all. Was it popular because Jared played with the success of the orig Walker and his Supernatural fans! I just think he loves working.as does Jensen.
Walker has a 33% on rotten tomatoes and a 5.9 on imdb. Personally I could only watch one episode before I gave up on it. I wouldn't call that popular.
@@chrisjohnston9961It's got a 3rd season and fans are saying it is getting better.
He is an amazing man person and actor
I love you guys ❤man you are so awesome smallville and supernatural got me through some rough times in my life you guys are my heroes thank you so
Much for being so awesome.
Jensen fucked up. That Jared was made to feel like he owed Jensen any kind of apology on this? NO. JUST NO.
Totally agree. Jared seems to be a people pleaser and seems easily manipulated into feeling like his own feelings don't matter. 😔😔 He was completely justified in feeling betrayed and hurt.
The guy who is interviewing Jared NEEDS to do a remake of National Lampoons Vacation! I CAN'T be the only one who agrees with this!
@@girlytomboyx Yeah, he still needs to do a remake of NATIONAL LAMPOONS. The original! He looks like a young clone sort of, Chevy Chase. I have heard other people say the same thing so I can't be the only one who also agrees with this.
No worries love you Jared you and Dean stronger forever keep it 💯😘👍
_"I'd be excited to help to tell that story"_
*Translation:* _"I'm hoping for job"_
unless they find a way around it the prequel screws up the story John wasn't hunting while Mary was alive and only stumbled into it after she was killed.
jensen said there will be canon retcons
That’s great!
Jared and jensen Knightwing and red hood
Jensen hijcked the show and made it about him while giving his wife (LOL), who hasn't watched every episode, creative control over the legacy of the show. It's a shameful move on Jensen's part. Jared should have been giving the heads up on DAY 1 about this. If that happened to me the relationship is mostly over because the trust is broken, but Jared seems more forgiving.
Jared's reaction was the most Sam way to react to that situation ever. It's actually hilarious. Dean is a character played by an actor, Sam is a character played by Sam.
I never knew they fell out 😮
Is that the same house that was in “French Mistake” episode ?😂😂
Nope. Stairway looks pretty similar, though.
I think that house in The French Mistake was in Vancouver... This house is in Austin...
Padlecki should’ve been in Friday the 13th part II
does anyone know what he tweeted?
Can someone explain what happened?
Jared seems so genuine and like such a nice person from this clip. I do hope that his relationship with Jensen continues to grow.
What was the drama thing that happened?
Relationships have struggles. People get hurt and cause hurt. You work it out or you don’t. But when you put it to bed, you have to leave it and move on. Just like he says.
For copyright issues, they have to change the story for the prequel the same way Roswell, NM had to for their reboot.
Jared, if you have a mortgage and a car payment .... wtf are you doing with your money?
Jared is a funny actor ,he seems like that type of hippie that only wanted some extra money to fuel up his car and a couple of smokes ,so he got involved in a gig and somehow ended up with a career in acting lol
Regardless who says what, JENSEN really dropped the ball and fucked up. Jarad is the other 50% of SUPERNATURAL. He had every right to know.
No only an idea. Tell Jared and Studio said no Jared would joke about it all the time. No one stopped him from doing a supernatural show, he started his company in season 14 two years before Jensen. Jensen was goings to tell him when he got the approval. If Jared hadn't been drinking I really don't think this would have made it to Twitter. As hurt as you may be you don't tell the world before your friend.
