    Finland is a very good place, and research here is excellent, I'm studying Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine at the University of Oulu and it's been such a wonderful and impactful six months so far, looking forward to the summer though

    Good looking gal! As somebody born and raised in Finland, l was surprised that she said how "equal" Finland is; my homestay hosts in New York City, who are Filipino-American, told me that they did feel racism against Asians.

    Based on the title I thought this would be ominous satire, "safe in many ways" implies there are also ways in which it's definitely not safe ahaha

      @@walkingeurope Finnish winter is not a good selling-point, so it's best to leave it out
      Basically you're deprived of sunlight and vitamin D and depressed for 4 months, and the roads are icy and slippery so you might fall and die
      So, it's better to talk about mid-summer or something, like in this video

      Winters are pretty, but the darkness makes you groggy. You wake up and go to school, it's dark, you get off school, it's dark.

    Finland is awesome but I think it say a lot of a person if you talk kindly about your place of origin more that just saying all the things you hate and that there is no way you'll go back. We all are going to improve this world if we go back to our original communities to improve them and not just run away from them like this girl.

    • @PlourdeEric
      @PlourdeEric 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Should Portuguese Brazilians go back to Portugal and try to improve it ? Should Japanese Brazilians go back to Japan and try to improve it? Should all the original communities of the Amazon try to help the thieves and poachers that invade their land go back to where they come from? Where does one draw the line?

    • @moibe182
      @moibe182 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PlourdeEric well your point is true. Ok, it’s difficult tu set that line, probably you are right, at the end we are citizens of the world and our history is about migrations, it has always been that. But at least, we can talk kindly about our roots? 🤷🏼‍♂️
