I am Czech, but these guys played the most beautiful hockey in tournament. I will never forget the performance of defenders a forwards. Every kind of this team worked like Swiss watches.Congrats from heart of Europe. Your team was the best in World Cup 2013. I hope, you show the same in Sochi. I wish the Czechs win the gold, but if we will not, of course Switzerland will. Thank you for your play, that I enjoyed notwithstanding you defeated us twice.

f*ck.. dont cry please. 1) referees have made some mistakes for both teams. 2) we really was playing better even without head coach! just be a man and admit this. we won 10 / 10 games in regular time. whats ur question?? ur team really could go home after the group stage because of Latvia, but unfortunately they lost in last game. So, NOW u dont like ur silver medals??? look. 5-2 ! not 4-2 ! not 3-2 ! the score is 5-2 (4-2 - game before) what are u saying about?? =D
dan11 4 goals on PP. You were playing very even if not even worse than Finnish Team 5-on-5. Better thank the referee's :P And yes, i am happy with Silver with this team. Obviosuly a russian team with Ovechkins and Malkins going to win when its Olympic year WC and no other country gets their Top Players.

Switzerland won all their matches in the hockey World Cup but a loss in the final by 5-1 against Sweden.

back in the day when the best players (so far) were all playing together. diaz, niederreiter, sbisa, josi, berra (all nhl or ahl players at this time, correct me if im wrong) working harmonically with the best players from the swiss league at this point (cunti, moser, bodemann, ambühl). in 2017 most of the good nhl player dont join for the world championship. in other words, this was real lucky and everything worked together, but wont happen that fast again! so swiss fans, enjoy this beautiful, yet melancholic moment of swiss hockey!!
I really hope we'll be seeing Switzerland succeeding like this in the future :)

das Spiel Schweiz:USA schaute sich, als ob die USA irgendwelche Junioren waren. sogar beim 3v5 haben die schweizer 20-30 sek lang powerplay gespielt. das war das schönst e Eishockey Spiel das ich jemals von Schweizern gesehen habe. unglaublich
