I am so impressed the room looks amazing and once all the beasties are all put into their new room they are going to be happy dancing, the finished garden will be so relaxing and restful, I built a pond in my previous garden I used to sit and read a book during the summer. My existing garden is all patio stones because my wheelchair was digging up the grass and it became a little like quick sand! ❤
Hey Dave! Man do I have a lot to say about this one. First off, Kev is one bad man! He absolutely just flicked through that. My grandfather used to say that he’ll retire 15 years after he died, looks like Kev has the same outlook on life 😂😂! Second: Holy mac the building looks so good! If buildings can be sexy, then the Beastie building is sexy 😂😂!! And third: Man, those work shops sound like so much fun! An entire day with Dave and some fellow Besstie fans?? Yes please!! I would gladly travel from here to the UK for that. I know online stuff is sketchy and stuff but I mean, come on, it’s Dave. If you can’t trust Dave, who can you trust? See you on Thursday Dave! Much love from Ontario, Canada!
@@daveslittlebeasties Hey man, that means a lot to me Dave. I definitely will. Over the last four years, you have easily become my biggest idol. And I mean that.
The progress has been amazing!!!! I’m so happy for you and camera lady! And thank you for bringing us all along on this huge accomplishment!! Can’t wait until it’s done and we get to see it grow into a full blown beastie room!!! Hugs from Oklahoma in the US
I love that color! I'm so excited for you and Camera Lady! It is such a joy to follow this production with you. I can't wait to see your beasties in there and to see you build new enclosures.
It's looking absolutely fantastic, I'm so happy for you! 💚 And watching your enthusiasm boil over is just out of this world wonderful! Take care, be happy, looking forward to the next video!
Dave, you seem to have a great admiration for these craftsmen, the way you narrate there progress, and maybe you wish you had some of that skill, it runs in your family perhaps.
You have definitely stumbled onto something special with the "workshops" idea. I have also thought about something doing something similar, having 2 young boys i've been playing with ideas on how to incorporate them or even schools into the mix. Amazing work with the beastie room thus far! You Brits seem to take construction very seriously across the pond as well! In Canada we just mud over the seams\holes on the drywall and spray paint everything, finish ASAP, makes you appreciate the art of the trades for sure. Thanks for all the continuous inspiration!
Np Dave got 2 respect your Elders and others when I watch Raccoon whisper with his wife Angie on there deck feeding the raccoons while the 2 cats are inside the house. I watch his videos at 8:00 p.m like everyday then someone in his comments say something mean his about his wife and wasn't nice but enjoy your video's and there's. But hope you enjoy the rest of your day can't wait intill your room is done Dave 🕷. Ps love the color you picked looks great. See you when upload another video. Have a good day or night 🌙.
Wow, what a difference the 1st colour coat made! I have really enjoyed this series. I will soon be moving my collection from the front bedroom to the middle one which is twice the size, purely because every time I watch your vids I end up getting whatever species were in it and I now need more space! Having seen you put up the twin slot system in the current room I'll be using that, looking forward to seeing the material and thickness you use for the shelves as I'm still undecided on that.
Hi loving the colour of your room it’s the same colour as my living room , I would love not to run and scream when I see a big spider in my home thank you
Almost there!! It seems like yesterday that you were planning your move from the old house and here you are almost done with your new beastie room!! Huge congratulations to you both 👏 🎉
That is a beautiful shade of olive green, really crisp & fresh. Did you know studies by the National Institute of Health have shown that exposure to the colour green can reduce stress & improve mood? And another skilled tradesman. I am very very rubish at cutting in!
Really enjoying watching the build from start to finish, and looking forward to seeing how you finish setting it all up. My current room is set up and based upon ideas from some of your previous layouts, and picking up other ideas and tips to improve on mine from these videos. Keep em coming 👍😁
Enclosure design workshops would be fab! The phobia day sounds great too, I honestly think if more people had experience with spiders they'd be less scared of them
Dave what an awesome build. Everything new and made for the hobby. I can appreciate the many electric sockets. Shelving going in what sort are you going for. I can't wait to se see the final thing.
Thank you for sharing your build and all the specifics that went into it. It has been fascinating and entertaining all along the way. You have some very lucky spiders! I know it’s not quite finished, but it’s close enough that congratulations are in order. Thanks again for the inspirational journey.
Ok so i been a fan of the channel for about 2 years and that main color really brings back memories of the original room! 2....idk if I'm psychic but I had flashes of you mr Dave cleaning up a new glass enclosure and doing a header into the pond hshahaha hope not but let's see ! Good stuff Mr Dave! Really excited for you guys! You deserve it for sure! Looks amazing!
as the saying says PROFF -horses for coarses its not donkeys for coarses. ha haha. your team are quallity all round . magical times ahead. thanks guys and take care
Hi Dave I have really have enjoyed all of the videos of the progress of your new beastie room. That green color is very nice. Your narration is excellent. Grest idea to have some people that are afraid of spider to come and see how beautiful they all are, and very fascinating to watch.❤🕷🕸Cindy USA. Love you channel. Camera lady does a fantastic job filming the progress.
Absolutely fantastic Dave, it's so close to the finish Dave, it's a wonderful job to say the least, anyway Dave another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
Green is my favorite color, especially olive green. Room is looking awesome. So glad you've posted these videos so we can go on the journey with you. Can't wait to see all the videos to come in this amazing space. 😁
As I mentioned before I'm a painter myself but it still amazes me how a little paint makes a room instantly more homely. Tuckers Dad did a great Job 👍doing workshops is a great idea. Or how about inviting school classes from time to time?
I love Overtly Olive - I have my kitchen painted in it, which I copied from my parents who have it in their sitting room. Just beautiful 😃 I definitely need to come to a phobia day 100% I've had hypnotherapy for it which didn't work - it just stressed me out. I think therapy by education seems much more sensible, and you and Camera Lady would be perfect for that.
You could even put in a vertical divider wall, that doesn’t go all the way through so you have space to walk around it, and that adds more wall space for your beasties. 😊😊😊
Hey guys. At the start of this build you said something that I know to be true, and so it resonates with me. Your day job takes you on a tour of the trades, and you get to see who has high standards, and who, not so much. Those who clean up after themselves at the end of each day, all have one thing in common, and that thing, is pride in their workmanship. If a man makes a great job of something, but then leaves his mess all over the place, the mess is what the customer sees, and it makes the customer wonder if their contractor really cares about what kind of work he produces. Did he do a good job because he cares? or. did it just turn out good this time? Dave, you chose your contractors really well, apart from a diary issue with the sparks, which is par for the course on any build, even if you decide to do it yourself, it has progressed without a hitch. No snag list here Ladies and Gentlemen, nothing to see, except for a top job, carried out by top tradesmen. For me personally, the professionalism of the contractors you hired, has been the 'stand out thing' of the entire build. Anyway, I'd best sign off before this becomes an essay. Take care guys✌
I can just imagine... Dave and Camera Lady, having popped into the Beastie Room to feed few spiders, are sitting by the pond watching the Koi glide about...
Looking brilliant it seems to look a lot bigger with the paint on. If only you could fast forward and slow down life in general. 😂 We all know what bits we would quicken up 😂
Looking fab! I'm loving the green 💚 Please may I go on the list for a phobia class? I love watching you and Camera Lady with your spiders, and I've come a long way from screaming in horror, which is entirely down to you both. I'm nearly there... but not quite! Lots of love ❤❤
He’s right with the wash coat, always the case with new plaster otherwise it will just soak up the paint and you will end up with it peeling off. I found this out the hard way a few years ago
If you’re painting the skirtings go for a water based paint (scruf-x) instead of oil based. It won’t yellow over time and the scruff-x is very durable 👍
It looks stunning!! 😍 Very much looking forward to the next videos! I was wondering if after you've moved everyone over to the new room if you would keep anything in your current room? Or transform the current room into a guest room? 🤔
Yup, wash coat is standard stuff. Never, ever seal plaster with PVA. When it dries out it can come off the plaster and take the covering paint with it.
Hi Dave, rooms coming along grand. Now you have a purpose built room do you have any plans to apply for a dwa license and keep some of the dangerous species of spider and scorpions?
It's looking so good
I can't wait to see the very first video filmed in the new beastie room
😊👍🏻
That green is gorgeous !! Abit darker than my hallway I really love the look of that!! It's gonna be superb once this is fully finished 🎉❤
Thank you! Cheers!❤
I have sincerely enjoyed this journey. Thank you for bringing us along
I'm so glad!😊
As an American I really enjoy your humor
Typical.
Also I see you are very close too 100k subscribers, early congratulations on that.
Thanks! 😃
What a beautiful, warm and cosy colour! And it’s almost ready to become the beastie room! 😃
I am so impressed the room looks amazing and once all the beasties are all put into their new room they are going to be happy dancing, the finished garden will be so relaxing and restful, I built a pond in my previous garden I used to sit and read a book during the summer. Someone please, get this man to 100K and give him his silver play button already!! It is a crime that Dave is not at like a million subscribers.
Thank you mate ❤️👍
The room looks amazin Dave, a lot of thought has gone into the project and it's paying off splendidly.
Love your vision for the entire backyard. A unique oasis to be sure, and most enjoyable. A lifestyle!
That paint colour is an excellent choice, it gives a lovely serene relaxing feel to the room.
Thanks so much 😊

Hey Dave, depending on the amount of humidity did they consider that when choosing the sheen of the paint?
I chose the Matt paint 😊
Plus Everybody enjoy there Halloween 🎃 👻week I almost forgot whoops sorry.
The lighting I don’t know if you’re gonna put more lights in or what doesn’t seem to be very good

Those old railroad ties on the right dave? Where did you find those?
I have a bunch of them to make a retaining wall for my Rockery around the pond 👍
