I like The Walten Files interpretation of A Christmas Carol. It's super original. There is no redemption arc. Boozoo goes through the same beats as Scrooge, but rather than cleansing his soul through warnings from the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, he is instead vanquished. In a way, Boozoo's Ghosts is the perfect foil to The Mysterious House, because in The Mysterious House, bad things happen to good people, but in Boozoo's Ghosts, bad things happen to everybody. I also love how much this series lingers on frightening imagery to create suspense. There are "jump scares", but they are all earned and built towards. The vaporwave glitch style score also channels tons of suspense

If you slow the playback speed to 0.5x, and go to 37:04, you can actually see boozoos mangled face uncensored. Honestly I expected it to be a lot worse, really shows how the best forms of horror are left up to the imagination.
One thing I noticed is that at 22:30 if you listen closely you realise those noises that they're making are distorted versions of things that we have already heard Boozoo say. They are literally spitting his words back at him. It's a nice touch!

I remember reading about someone's theory on this being the point of view of Felix while he's watching these specials put out by Bunny Smiles as they represent his guilt, based on the kneejerk change of pace and the glitching. Like this story was actually normal, but in Felix's now tortured mind, he sees this. Honestly an interesting theory that lines up for me.
Technically they're ghosts, trying to show Boozoo his errors, he lied and didn't cared so they had to show him the bad way and make him suffer for what he has done
Something that kind of hit me years later with this. During the first ghost's song - he says "you don't want to hear me cry" and it shows his eye markings starting to warp, foreshadowing the first ghosts true form and warning Boozo that he should admit his mistakes or else.

Sadly, this is how it really is. Sometimes, people do bad things. And sometimes, those people want to atone, grow, right what theyve wronged, apologize, and change for the better, because they genuinely feel bad about it. And sometimes, they are denied that chance. Sometimes people don't realize they've already used up their last chance until it's too late.
I really like how you not only added your own unique spin to the Christmas Carol narrative, but really emphasized the horrific aspects of mortality and fate that the original story had. People forget that it isn't just the ghost of christmas past that is horrifying, but all of them are ultimately frighetning with their implications

It's crazy how much mercy the ghosts were actually showing him before it was Future's turn. They weren't trying to just make him see he was wrong and make him feel sorry (they succeeded) they were trying to get him to UNDERSTAND how he was wrong and the magnitude... for him to want to change by himself (Unattainable either because of the time limit or his stubborn way of thinking). And they didn't want change just out of fear of being punished but genuine consideration so they can know they won't have to teach his ass a lesson again. But of course he wanted to be stuck up and not take heed to how much time he had and ended up running out of time for any further action. The damage was done and caused death and misery so all the ghosts had a lil party to countdown to the miserable death the old man put onto others! Rest in hell BOZO (you don't deserve the extra Os)
Actually in the original Christmas Carol I think the 3rd Ghost’s appearance of a floating shade with no distinct form is meant to represent how the future has no form until you yourself shape it.
I did notice how Boozo was shown a red silhouette in the mirror like how Edd and Molly are shown in Bunny Farm with the word 'regrets' highlighted. I think that's just an easter egg though.

A small detail I noticed upon my millionth viewing: All three of them refer to Boozoo as "friend." Your past knew you, your present knows you, and Mortality knows everyone.
I'd like to point out to everyone that this was NOT infact an Unfair Judgement. At no point does the old man ever make an effort to *Apologize,* beg for a *Second Chance,* or at any point show _Actionable_ Remorse. He says he doesn't want Banny's children to starve, but he never offers to go, say, make things right and get them food and presents when he awakes? He at no point ever asks what _He_ can do to help, and is constantly begging the _Others_ to fix things FOR him. And at no point does he ever ask for a second chance to go and do things right, just that he doesn't want to die. The scene where he sees Banny again had the chance for him to MAYBE show remorse! But he didn't have long enough to give that chance, and he never even said sorry when he first saw her, just said that he was glad to see her. It was fully within character and within their rights to deem his life Over with _No_ Parole. Granted, the way Mortality was talking, it's not like it mattered. Even if he said sorry, I'm pretty sure he was *already* dead and was just going through the Purgatory of his Life to see where he had _very often failed_ and _rarely, if ever, succeeded_ as a person before he got tossed into the great beyond as gruesomely and painfully as possible. His tone was sorrowful, this did not make him worthy of Forgiveness. Take this from the man who's had a lifetime's experience helping those deemed unforgivable become caring beings once more. His soul was Impure, and unfortunately, some are Beyond Saving... He had every chance to say his apologies and yet the only time he did was to beg for his Life.

Something that kind of hit me years later with this. During the first ghost's song - he says "you don't want to hear me cry" and it shows his eye markings starting to warp, foreshadowing the first ghosts true form and warning Boozo that he should admit his mistakes or else.

It’s like these sadistic twisted otherworldly forces tormenting him to teach him a lesson, but he doesn’t even get a chance to learn anything, seemingly just to get rid of him in the worst way possible. Like the whole ordeal is pointless and cruel. It really makes you feel truly helpless.

It's crazy how much mercy the ghosts were actually showing him before it was Future's turn. They weren't trying to just make him see he was wrong and make him feel sorry (they succeeded) they were trying to get him to UNDERSTAND how he was wrong and the magnitude... for him to want to change by himself (Unattainable either because of the time limit or his stubborn way of thinking). And they didn't want change just out of fear of being punished but genuine consideration so they can know they won't have to teach his ass a lesson again. But of course he wanted to be stuck up and not take heed to how much time he had and ended up running out of time for any further action. The damage was done and caused death and misery so all the ghosts had a lil party to countdown to the miserable death the old man put onto others! Rest in hell BOZO (you don't deserve the extra Os)

Well, we can see that we felt really bad for what he done, and that deep inside he was a good person, like the original Evennizer Scrouge, but in the original story the ghosts actually gave him a second chance to change, and he actually did, and with everything he done from that night, he managed to make other people happy
But this time it shows like a bad ending where the ghosts never gave him the second chance, and tortured him with his sins until his final breath

I'd like to point out to everyone that this was NOT infact an Unfair Judgement.
At no point does the old man ever make an effort to *Apologize,* beg for a *Second Chance,* or at any point show _Actionable_ Remorse.
He says he doesn't want Banny's children to starve, but he never offers to go, say, make things right and get them food and presents when he awakes?
He at no point ever asks what _He_ can do to help, and is constantly begging the _Others_ to fix things FOR him.
And at no point does he ever ask for a second chance to go and do things right, just that he doesn't want to die.
The scene where he sees Banny again had the chance for him to MAYBE show remorse! But he didn't have long enough to give that chance, and he never even said sorry when he first saw her, just said that he was glad to see her.
It was fully within character and within their rights to deem his life Over with _No_ Parole. Granted, the way Mortality was talking, it's not like it mattered. Even if he said sorry, I'm pretty sure he was *already* dead and was just going through the Purgatory of his Life to see where he had _very often failed_ and _rarely, if ever, succeeded_ as a person before he got tossed into the great beyond as gruesomely and painfully as possible.
His tone was sorrowful, this did not make him worthy of Forgiveness. Take this from the man who's had a lifetime's experience helping those deemed unforgivable become caring beings once more. His soul was Impure, and unfortunately, some are Beyond Saving... He had every chance to say his apologies and yet the only time he did was to beg for his Life.
This is a very accurate comment.
