Hey everyone, here is a video to help adults learning phonics. I teach all three a-vowel sounds including ay, ai and a-e. These sounds will help you to sound out words with the different letters for the long a-vowel sound. The "ay" and the "ai" spellings are called digraphs and the "a-e" spelling is called a split digraph. The two letter sounds are called digraphs and the split sound is called a split digraph. The more you read, the more you will familiarise yourself with the different spellings for each word. I hope you find this video helpful! Please comment for any further guidance, Many thanks, Abi:)

Hello...
Please help me with the usage of these digraphs . Where to use ae split and when ai is used?
Hello there, when reading you need to try and identify the sounds and then blend them together. If you start with appropriate books for your level this will help. Good luck😊
