Their whole relationship was an emotional roller-coaster 🥺😭 So many moments that were so touching, funny, loving, frustrating and tragic. I cried through so much of this drama. But the scene that definitely got me hard was after their fallout when EG abandons YC in anger (mirroring the argument they had before the time slip). YC gets attacked while desperately searching for EG and then screams for him because he misses him so much 😭 You can just feel the pain in his voice and body language while apart from his son. And for us knowing hes EG's dad it makes the scene that much more devastating 💔 😢

They became much closer, trusting and more affectionate. Do you remember how weirded out YC felt in the beginning whenever EG touched him or got overprotective of him? That resistance ceased after the island intervention, followed by the gang attack. Also I've noticed viewers not taking into account how intelligent/observant YC actually is even though he was naive, stubborn and skeptic of some things. He holds onto your every word and action if he senses meaning behind it. Like when EG confessed to YC he was meant to be with Cheong ah, he never let that go. And after EG spilled being YC's son then taking it back; YC would jokingly keep calling him "son". That tells me that he not only didn't believe the fake truth (considering he knows EG is a bad liar pretending to be that guitarist), but that he went along with EG's lie so as not to push things knowing it was probably for the better. Like he said "you've done things that helped me" or something along this. But YC knew the whole time after that episode that EG was his son, the hospital scene gave it away. And the scene in the future when he picks up the tape was meant to be about confirming those suspicions.

Dude, when the scene of Eungyeol and Yichan changed to young Eungyeol and Dad Yichan, I just couldn't stop bawling. And when Eungyeol really cried like a scared teen that finally felt relief after so long and just bawled in Dad's arms. 🥺🥺

This was a great drama. Great cast, writing, acting, and no cliches and unnecessary drama. I would’ve loved just about two minutes more showing a bit of HEG and OEY’s future and how going back in time changed her and her mom’s present 2023.

Ive seen these clips separately on other channels. But your edit is soooo good. It evokes the exact emotions these scenes are meant to evoke. With those dialogues, you show the relevant flashbacks/earlier conversations, and the perfect music. The clips and audio and music are placed so perfectly in the right sequence. As others have already mentioned, your edits really bring out the emotional and human viewpoint so perfectly! Really really well done!!
And the interesting fact about this is that even though EG takes back the confession in episode 12, its very clear that YC doesn't believe his lie. He wouldn't allow EG to be so affectionate and touchy with him after episode 11 otherwise (both of them were always holding each other and strongly bonded/in sync in all their scenes). He wouldn't keep calling him "son" either regardless if he was just teasing. And there were moments when YC went into "dad mode" with EG. Before the island, which changed everything between these two, YC was so weirded out by EG's familial concern, random acts of devotion (and strangeness) and the physical contact. He originally thought EG had a crush on him not knowing that the unconditional love was coming from a deeper place of them being father and son. It all clicked for YC after episode 11, the last two episodes of TW all but confirmed he knew the truth about EG (his "Sherlock" line was evident) and most likely went along with the lie trusting him that it was for the better.
