Hello Nivesh! Well, definitely yes. The media of a N99 mask will filter a minimum of 99% and N95 protects 4 times less than a N99 therefore a N95 mask is not as suitable as a N99. Have a nice day!
Hi Alexander, According to OSHA guidelines 29 CFR1910.134, the only standard is for the Assigned Protection Factor (APF) which for both N95 and N99 is set at 10. The difference is that the N99s provide 99% protection from particles and our GVSs feature a metal clip and elastic bands to better fit the face. The face fit varies depending on the person and their characteristics, it is not universal, and each operator must find the mask that best fits their face. Ours is designed to achieve a fit factor of 100 on every occasion.
