Did you know that parents are the biggest influence on children’s decisions about using alcohol and other drugs? It is important to talk with your child about these issues early and often, but it can be difficult to know where to start and what to say.
SAMHSA’s “Talk. They Hear You.”® campaign has an interactive resources called “Parents’ Night In”. These educational sessions provides parents and caregivers with the information, skills, and tools they need to feel comfortable talking with their child about alcohol and other drugs, in just an hour of their time.
