I’m only a little 5 minutes into this video, and I’m laughing so hard at the “conversation” between the horses! 😂 I live for the sub-titles in your vlogs. They seem SO accurate!
Zeb took such care with you. You can in he slow motion that on the fences that he needed to raise his hind legs ever so much him was with it. Every time. Congratulations on jumping after your baby gap!
Your videos are always so entertaining especially with the Horse Comments/Conversations. Makes them stand out from all the rest. Excellent production and awareness of what we like!
Well done Ash, well done Izzy. Great to see Izzy and Tiny just getting on with it despite a sticky start. You both looked confident and a great partnership. x
You guys should do a session on landing on the correct lead. I realize in cross country it may not be super important? But for stadium, it makes things so much simpler and smooth. Just a thought
Wow, I was impressed with all of them! Yes, Tiny acted like an idiot in the warmup and then afterward rolling in his tack 😂 (sorry Izzy), but that’s the best I’ve seen him jump! Izzy did a great job with him. Max was MUCH more well behaved than I expected him to be. I guess he’s getting a bit more mature. Of course Zeb was amazing, as always! Also, Ashley, you did an amazing job, could barely tell you had a 6-month break from jumping (as someone who had to take a 6 YEAR break from jumping, I know how difficult it is to tune up your eye after you haven’t been able to practice for a long period. In my case, VERY long!). I think you did a better job with Zeb than with Max, which makes sense. Glad to see that Zeb can still jump those higher jumps and seems to like it. I would be too worried about my older horses to jump what looked like 1.10 fences bc I’d be too scared of overdoing it and hurting their older joints. But as long as Zeb can jump that high and stay sound, more power to both of you! You’re lucky; I’ve had to step down my senior horses to lower fences in their teens, with one exception. A 17.1 h warmblood named Phil who was at least 19 (I didn’t have his papers) and schooling some 1.20 at home and competing (and winning!) in the 1.10 and 1.15 m jumper classes. That horse LOVED to jump, and NEVER stopped at a fence, even when he should have. He was so happy jumping, when I would just be flatting in an arena with jumps in it, I’d have to be VERY careful to avoid going in any direction toward a jump, bc Phil would try to take over and jump the fence instead of going AROUND it as I wanted to do! 😂. Gotta love these senior horses who really enjoy their jobs!
Wow! Brilliant video 👏 The guys were so excited to be doing what they really love the most! Izzy and Tiny looked great a definite partnership there. Ashleigh you looked like you had never had any time off 😊 Anyway I would like to say a massive Thank you for taking us with you this year on your very exciting journey, it has been brilliant entertainment for everyone and its extremely appreciated ❤ well....all thats left to say is A Very Merry Christmas to you all especially little Lexi having her 1st Christmas 🎄 & wishing you a very Happy New year. Well just WOW, what a video Ashley. So lovely to see you back at it with Max and Zeb, you may have been out of it for a few months (I hear you were pregnant LOL), but you as ever made this look effortless, Max looks great, but Zeb seasoned pro, smashed it as ever. Izzy you and Tiny were just fantastic, you have come on in leaps and bounds both of you, and your confidence is showing, this is lovely, well done both of you. Ashley, Scott and Lexi have a lovely first Christmas as a family, and Merry Christmas to all the family, all the fab friends, and a Very Happy New Year. xxx
Get a load of Tiny, Mr. I'm-A Sensitive-Thoroughhbred, but he can jump for sure! Max looked amazing, I swear that his tail slapped the back of your helmet once or twice, such a saucy boy! And dear old Zeb, having a ball, and I would have sworn when you were talking after the last go-round, he was making fun of you:"Blah blah blah, yeah , this & that, yakety yak," shaking his head and mouthing your words. A gelding of many talents!
Izzy rode Tiny with such confidence, looking like a real partnership now, well done Izzy!
Thanks 🙏 😊
@@ashleyharrisoneventing Izzy, your hands/releases - great softness and following now! Great!
