I saw this video for the first time and impressed by the way you explain with fully scientific knowledge. I have been using Microwave for the past 20 years or so but your explanation waswonderful! In Microwave I have used any ceramic cups or glass tumbler with no damage. Please tell if vapors created inside the microwave do not damage the inside machinery! Waiting for your reply and next video!

thanks for watching the video.....i am glad that it was helpful............OTG can not reheat food like microwave........in mirowave you can reheat food just in a minute or two...........but OTG is convection heating which is a slow process plus food may get burn while reheating...........but yes things like kachori/samosa/puff can be reaheated in otg which are crisp from outside.
cant be compared.......both are having different function ...... like microwave mode is not feasible in OTG, in mircrowave mode if you heat food it hardly takes a minute at 900 watt........while to heat food in OTG you need to minimum keep it on for 5 to 8 mints at 1200 watt, in that case we can say microwave done job easiliy............but when you are doing grilling/ baking function, OTG wtih four rods at corner reachs at required temp quickly and with the help of thermostate maintains it at the same temp, in baking function OTG takes less power probably...............so efficiency wise since function of both the device is different we should not compare..............if you want to know about energy consumption so i can mention here that my microwave is 900 watt and OTG is 1200 watt.

I mean to say madam I want suggestions from you if I use microwave oven instead of otg it will work or I will bake on daily basis it will hamper the microwave oven pls help me with suitable suggestions thank u.
No microwave baking mode can be used daily without any issue....Only keep enough clearance around microwave so that it can desperse heat.....If you want to ise only one appliance than microwave is the best choice.....

No no no.... Please don't do that again.... It's not only sparking, sparking happens on sharp edges.....But microwaves rays do no penetrate in any metal object and moreover metal utensils reflects it....It will damage your microwave.....So never use metal object in microwave mode

But I still have one query, if I buy a convection microwave and bake cookies or pizza/bread will it provide me with the same good results as an OTG would?
you can make cookies and pizza in convection microwave, it is possible, when i had a smaller size otg i used to make cake and pizza in microwave........but for baking OTG is best option......it gives faster and better results for baking......if you are baking occasionally and you want to buy one device than convection microwave is the best option for you.....while if baking is your primary need than why to waste money on microwave when a much cheper device like OTG can produce better results. ......... thanks for watching the video surbhi ji.

Otg and microwave both works on different principal.In microwave, microwaves are used to cook and in case of OTG the chamber is heated on high temperature and then baking is done,like traditional tandoor

Convection mode oven k jaise kaam karta hai ya different hota hai ??, agar veg puff ko reheat karna hai to microwave me Convection mode me karenge to crispy rahega k nahi ??
Yes you can do that better would be use combi mode convection + grill.....Or use only grill....Microwave convection mode otg ke similar hai....Browning ke liye grill use kiya jata hai

Otg and microwave both works on different principal.In microwave, microwaves are used to cook and in case of OTG the chamber is heated on high temperature and then baking is done,like traditional tandoor

microwave mein idly ban sakati hai aapko plastic ka microwave safe idly stand kharidna hoga. aap esmein idly tabhi banaye jab aapke paas gas ka option na ho otherwise idly gas per jyada easily ban jati hai................haan agar aapke paas solo microwave hai to aap baking ke liye OTG le sakate hain.
Mam OTG mei temperature change kartae ja saktae hai kya bich bich mei bhi.. As per our convienience
हाँ कविता जी,अगर आपको लगे कि आपको थोड़ी देर कम temprature पर bake करना है और फिर 10 मिनट बाद temp बढ़ाना है,तो आप इसे बढ़ा भी सकते हैं
