Great tutorial - very basic stuff that I think most people could do. I think it’s your attention to detail that makes your sculpts unique. Some people wouldn’t think to make clasps on the bag, or texture the fabric. I, personally like realistic looking things. But, I have to agree that this owl is a bit whimsical. You do what inspires you to be creative.
I absolutely love the owl and more so that you used the correct word for their 'horns'. The hoodie is adorable. I really need to give this one a try. Thanks for this tutorial.

Adorable! I'm trying to make Harry Potter's Hedwig for a great nephew and after watching your work, I'm trying to hard for realism. This was fun and I too wanted to use glow in the dark clay for the eyes. Nice touch!

I paint and draw but I’ve never played with clay but I really want to make my project with clay so this was very helpful, and I’m tackling my project over the summer so I thank you for all of the useful information! Love this little owl. Love owls and steampunk. Agree with Katzztar, he needs a cat friend with a steampunk top hat. Thanks for sharing him and the tip about the air hole in the goggles. I learned about air holes too late and a dragon egg I made (over a read blown out egg) had a nice big bulge in it upon baking. Guess I was lucky it didn't blow up. As always love your video and have learned much from them.
