The only part about this book I really hated, beside Tamlin, was this whole Lucien situation. I loved him so much in first book but in second one he was kinda a bad guy and it broke my heart.
The whole scene where Rhys finally told feyre the story of how he knew she was his mate had me in absolute hysterics. The part where he says I felt you die, I had to stop so I could sob. And she just asks “you love me?” “Then eat” TEARSSSSSSSS Also when it goes to Rhysands POV and amren was so upset and screaming where’s feyre that broke me because she cares so much about her then mor saying you mean to tell me my high lady is in the enemies hands also broke me because you can see the love and respect they have for feyre ugh let me go read acowar now
I am scared for 1) An Inner Circle death, 2) Cassian's Wings, 3) What happens when everyone finds out that Feyre is a spy and High Lady of the Nightcourt 4) Destruction of my ships. 5) Velaris getting attacked again, 6) what happens when the wall comes down (cuz we all know it is).
[mini spoiler] I just finished this book today and absolutely loved it! My only complaint is that now there's a negative view of Lucien. I liked him a lot in the first book. I don't like having to view him as a sort of villain side-kick now. I hope his character is redeemed a little in ACOWAR
I dated Tamlin... this book was my therapy. There were signs in ACOTAR that tamlin was narcissistic and controlling but I didn’t really pick up on them at the time and I didn’t notice the red flags in my own relationship for what they were. This series helped me to let go of the guilt I felt for not being what my ex wanted (much like feyre playing housewife), recognize I was in an extremely toxic relationship, and the blame was not on me. Rhysand showed me what love actually is... freedom not safety. I read this book in one sitting and then multiple times afterwards and recommended the series again and again. I don’t think it is the most amazing in terms of the writing style but there are so many good lessons and Sarah’s books are always a pleasure to read 😉
I just recently read this one, so good! I loved the part where Feyre is rescuing Rhys and going all kinds of badass :) I also loved the Starfall scene, and the scenes of her painting in the cabin.
juliababyjen when she had to save him. It was like no holding back, she was driven to save her man. My mind went to like a Wonder Woman fighting scene lol. I really did envision that scene.
I would not say Feyre was actually demeaned in the throne scene. She asked Rhysand to let her participate. And it was all just a show. The lust was real, but everything wasn't. Kind of like a sub/dom relationship (in this scene) where the dom only does things the sub is okay with.
I love Rhys so much that I'd gladly endure everything that he did under Amarantha for fifty years and beyond just to keep Rhys happy. He is, hands down, the best fictional character I've ever read!
hahahah I feel like everyone says it the way you do, but i found the pronunciation guide a while back and have been saying Reesand ever since! But honestly, whatever works! :)
I love your reactions and the way you express yourself. I fell in love with Rysand's entire circle. I mean all the love ... and everything that happened ... I have no words !!! I read all the books in the series and I really liked that I decided to read them again. All I felt for the first time felt it again When I read the fourth book, I laughed at the time. The whole family love warmed me from inside.
Thanks for the recap since ACOWAR comes out TODAY (can't get it until Friday because of college exams and it SUCKS)!!!! I love Rhys and Feyre and I loved the part where he was explaining literally EVERYTHING to Feyre and you find out that he's been dreaming of a human girl AND SHE WAS PAINTING STARS ON HER EFFING DRAWERS!!!! I loved that so much! LOVED this booktalk, you did a great job! I love watching your videos!
I absolutely adore your energy, this was literally me when I finished the book last night 😫🥲🤣 I love how you have exactly the same fangirl reaction that I do. I’m simply ✨ screaming ✨ over Feysand.
Commenting after 3 years 😂 The book still lives on yayyyy ....... I agree with every word that you say , Oh my my I am obsessed with this series and Rhys and the inner circle 🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can I just say I love her energy she’s exactly what I would describe a book lover ranting about their favourite book looks like I feel so happy watching her videos djejjdjs
I only read this series this year (yes, i am late to the part, but better late than never) but I loved it from the first page and I had so many moments where I wanted to scream from both happiness and frustration because this series was a carousel of emotions. It gave me all the feels and I can't wait to read more from Sarah J. Maas because I need my babies to live and find some peace for themselves. I have so many questions about what's going to happen in the next books and I don't think I have enough patience to wait so much (thank God I have other books to keep me company). And I loved your booktalk because you are so passionate about the ACOTAR series and this is legit me every single book and so I loved this video and you have such an amazing spirit!
I mean, the only reason Tamlin isnt dead in my mind in the hate corner is because had he not took her to Prythian, she wouldnt have ever known that *SPOILERS* She was mated to Rhys
THE WAY YOUR ENERGY AND PASSION FOR THIS SERIES MATCHES MINE IS THE BEST THING EVER. watching this was so enjoyable, any time you said something I agreed with I was like GIRL I KNOW RIGHT 😭
I love watching u talk about it cause ur so excited about it and I’m so excited about it. And no one I know reads. it’s such a good feeling to watch someone whos as happy about it as me and just yes.
Yes! I just finished this book and have No one to share it with. Lol. When Feyre saved Rhys but then dropped him outside the house because she just found out he had kept the mating bond from her...I was soooooo ticked off at her! I wanted to scream and had no one to tell at about it. Lol
I started listening to this audiobook after finishing ACOTAR - I got about halfway thru and it was great but Ferye was so annoying I couldn’t take it anymore, I was invested and wanted to see how it ended - thanks for the detailed recap!
Can we talk about the synchronization when Tamlin lunges for Feyre and she throws a dagger at him and he ducks colliding with Rhysand's hand? Like, the embarrassment, the synchronization, the cooperation......
Girl, I read ACOMAF last year and now I really, really want to read it again. Like, watching you talk about it, it felt like I was watching myself, except I didn't know anyone who had read it back then, so I couldn't even share all my feels! I can't put into words how much I absolutely LOVE this book. Feyre and Rhys are the kind of love story that you can't help but just dive into with them, and I was exactly like you. I couldn't even remember there was a plot when I all I could see was them dancing around each other. I was kind of on the fence with ACOTAR and I liked ACOWAR a lot, but ACOMAF... dude, that book owns my soul. So so glad I found your vlog and that you're someone who isn't afraid or shy to just let alllll the feels out. I'm definitely subscribing!
I just finished this book a few hours ago. Your enthusiasm is infectious, I love it. I can't believe the amount of bad reviews. This book makes me si happy 😊 😃
I just found these books while sick w COVID. Getting a kick out of the reviews and comments too... I look at it this way. They aren't wholesome, but for mindless guilty pleasures, they are fun. Don't go off the deep end and feel like they are about manipulative males (they are) or females (they are). Just remember it's basically light erotica w some high fantasy. If you like that, these are for you.
I accidently got the 3rd book from a store about 2 years and some change ago thinking it was a singular book but then i found out it was a series and i couldn't find the books again and im JUST now reading it. I just started the 3rd book Sunday, Im so excited😊😁
The more I think about ACOTAR the more I really love it, but acomaf literally... I defy anyone not to become obsessed with it. You can't even tell people how good it is its just THAT GOOD
Such a great discussion, thanks for the great video!! I just finished rereading ACOTAR and ACOMAF in time for ACOWAR tomorrow and I'm so excited but so scared!! Also, your jacket in this video looks so perfectly Night Court! Coincidence? 😜🌚✨
The scene where Rhysand finally tells her EVERYTHING about.... Spoilers How he dreamed of her! How he had been looking for her once she crossed into their lands. The 1st time they met Etc etc etc Soooooo good. I just feel it all when his character is involved. Just.....sigh.
I know this was posted a while back, but I wanted to say that i absolutely LOVE your energy, and the way you do these reviews! Also, I love your jacket so much! Did you plan to wear it for this review? Since you know, Night Court, start, dark sky ... It seems in theme and I love it!
IM SOOO GLAD ash that I wasn't the only one jumping and so exited about this series!! I literally cried so hard, laughed so hard during this series that my fam and friends thought I was crazy and that books where impacting on me.! I loved this book so much and I'm in such a relief to find that there is someone else as crazy as me( no offence) ! I love ur personality so much. After I finished the book I straight opened this video and u DID AN 'EXQUISITE' (😉) job at recapping EVERY damn important part in this book!!!! Ur goals and I'm so happy u liked this series as much as I did❤️❤️❤️
That book was on my mind for weeks after I finished reading it! It was very difficult to pick up another book and lose myself in another story - I just wanted to read the next book asap 😂 Now I'm almost done reading ACOWAR and...I don't know how I'll be able to avoid the next reading slump 😢
Great booktalk!!! I loved every bit of ACOMAF so it's hard to pick a favorite scene but I think Starfall was adorable & loved when Feyre saved Rhys. Ahhh she's developed into such an amazing character. Can't wait to read ACOWAR!
We totally need ACOTAR series from Rhys’ point of view
Nina Jędrzejczak YES PLEASE SJM I NEED ALL OF THE ANGST
I would kill for it omg I love him so much 😭😭
YES
Yeah, cause i didn't cry enough with this book as it is
are we all in agreement rhys is better than feyre?
4:41 Oh yeah. The Suriel was a hardcore Rhys and Feyre shipper.
My favourite gossip loving Suriel is dead 😢😭
"the book is massive"
Me: "yeah but what about that WINGSPAN" 😉😂
BRUH I WHEEZED STAHP ITS 1AM 😭😭😭😭
Don't forget when Feyre defends the city with her magic!! that was epic!
undastandme1 the city fighting was E P I C. Feyre straight was like "not my city"
And the satisfaction we get when she finally kills the attor !!! Like yass queen
The only part about this book I really hated, beside Tamlin, was this whole Lucien situation. I loved him so much in first book but in second one he was kinda a bad guy and it broke my heart.
same!!
YES
Ikr..
The whole scene where Rhys finally told feyre the story of how he knew she was his mate had me in absolute hysterics. The part where he says I felt you die, I had to stop so I could sob. And she just asks “you love me?” “Then eat” TEARSSSSSSSS

i am also scared of ghosts
Hannah banana Like ghosts or Alex, Reggie and Luke?
"The villain is usually the person who locks up the maiden and throws away the key.”
“Oh?”
I shrugged. “He (Rhys) was the one who let me out.”
This literally was one of my favorite lines in this one because he was the one who let her out and it was so emotional
[mini spoiler]
I just finished this book today and absolutely loved it! My only complaint is that now there's a negative view of Lucien. I liked him a lot in the first book. I don't like having to view him as a sort of villain side-kick now. I hope his character is redeemed a little in ACOWAR

rhys is my favorite ever
Ikr he's the best love intrest I've ever read about
I just recently read this one, so good!
BUT THE WEAVER SCENE THOUGH
ugh! I just finished mist and fury and agree that when we met Rhysand at Calanmai, that has to be one of my favorite scenes!!
Lol “the book is massive”
Don’t you mean “Maassive”😏
All her later books are Maassive👌🏼
omfg lmfao
I would not say Feyre was actually demeaned in the throne scene. She asked Rhysand to let her participate. And it was all just a show. The lust was real, but everything wasn't. Kind of like a sub/dom relationship (in this scene) where the dom only does things the sub is okay with.
I love your jacket it really matches the aesthetic of the book.
Thanks! That was the goal! ;)
I’m in LOVE WITH RHYSAND!! I LOVE THE NIGHT COURT!!! I don’t know how this book can be so GOOD...I’m literally shook and obsessed!!!!
I love Rhys so much that I'd gladly endure everything that he did under Amarantha for fifty years and beyond just to keep Rhys happy. He is, hands down, the best fictional character I've ever read!
Ree-sand? I've been saying Rye-sand... thoughts?
Valeria Rios It's Ree-sand. Maas has a pronunciation guide on her website, check it out!
Charlie Book Fanatic get out! Oh my god. Wow. I will definitely need to check out before I get the third installment. Thanks!!!
Valeria Rios to don't worry, I've been calling him that way too!! Lol Actually a lot of people pronounce it as Rye-sand so your not alone😅
hahahah I feel like everyone says it the way you do, but i found the pronunciation guide a while back and have been saying Reesand ever since! But honestly, whatever works! :)
Valeria Rios i mean, unpronounceable names are Sarahs specialty
I love your reactions and the way you express yourself. I fell in love with Rysand's entire circle. I mean all the love ... and everything that happened ... I have no words !!! I read all the books in the series and I really liked that I decided to read them again. All I felt for the first time felt it again When I read the fourth book, I laughed at the time. Yes! I just finished this book and have No one to share it with. Lol.
When Feyre saved Rhys but then dropped him outside the house because she just found out he had kept the mating bond from her...I was soooooo ticked off at her! I wanted to scream and had no one to tell at about it. Lol
I'm mostly scared for the possibly cringey sex scenes between Tamlin and Feyre in ACOWAR.
Charlie Book Fanatic I'm dreading that.
Thank god there was none.
I started listening to this audiobook after finishing ACOTAR - I got about halfway thru and it was great but Ferye was so annoying I couldn’t take it anymore, I was invested and wanted to see how it ended - thanks for the detailed recap!
I loved rhys the moment he helped feyre during calanmai
SO IN LOVE WITH RHYSAND ❤️❤️❤️
Ahh this was like re living all my favorite scenes from ACOMAF (I was literally fangirling along with you 😂) I'm soooo excited for ACOWAR!!
Omg like the anticipation for the next book is my entire life tonight.
Can we talk about the synchronization when Tamlin lunges for Feyre and she throws a dagger at him and he ducks colliding with Rhysand's hand? Like, the embarrassment, the synchronization, the cooperation......
I prefer this book to the original!
To see someone who loves acomaf as much as me is just so refreshing to watch!!! Loved the video
Talk about perfect timing because I JUST finished ACOMAF and was coming on youtube to watch polandbanasbooks video on it. Ah and I need ACOWAR now.
I’ve never seen anyone THIS pumped about a book you are so adorable

Absolutely one of my favorites
The scene where Rhysand finally tells her EVERYTHING about....
Spoilers
How he dreamed of her!
How he had been looking for her once she crossed into their lands.
The 1st time they met
Etc etc etc
Soooooo good.

“As soon as Hybern was mentioned I was like hy-who?” - MOOOD
That book was on my mind for weeks after I finished reading it! It was very difficult to pick up another book and lose myself in another story - I just wanted to read the next book asap 😂 Now I'm almost done reading ACOWAR and...I don't know how I'll be able to avoid the next reading slump 😢
omg I love this series I am soon Going to read ACWAR!!!!! I loved youre booktalk!
Great booktalk!!! I loved every bit of ACOMAF so it's hard to pick a favorite scene but I think Starfall was adorable & loved when Feyre saved Rhys. Ahhh she's developed into such an amazing character. Can't wait to read ACOWAR!
Thanks! I know what you mean haha but the starfall scene really got me too! :)
please tell me where you got that jacket i've been searching for it everywhere online and i can't find it
