Born to Boogie is the song you want to hear. I have been to many of Hank’s concerts and he puts on a show. He plays many instruments. During his performance of this song, I have seen him go from guitar, to drums, to steel guitar, to bass and finish out with the harmonica.
If you want to see an 8½ minute compilation of all of Hank Williams Sr's raw live TV performances, search: "Hank Williams-Kate Smith Shows March & April 1952" uploaded by Earl Martin. He performs multiple songs written by himself, including a duet with Anita Carter. Her sister June Carter (Johnny Cash's future wife) introduces them. Those performances were just 8-9 months before Hank passed during the first few hours of New Years 1953 at the young age of 29.
I saw him live a few years ago. Did not disappoint. This is one of his few slow songs, but it did not disappoint. He is known for his party songs. You've listened to a lot of the hits he is known for. One I think you might like is Blues Man. Another hit is Outlaw Women.
You mention slow songs, and then recommend "Blues Man". Lol But Blues Man is definitely one of my favorites.. But kinda aggravating that there's someone out there recommending George Jones and Dolly Parton's cover of it to reactors. That's the only version of that song I've seen be reacted to. George Jones is one of my top favorite artists, but that version isn't even the best cover version. Alan Jackson's cover of it is better than George and Dolly's. But nothing beats the original, since it applies to Hank.
@@GutslingerI said he was known for those songs, which were already done. I picked Blues Man from my selection. I think the original here is the best.
This one is a classic! As for another upbeat one I would suggest Kaw-Liga. Both Sr and Jr have versions of it. It would be fun for you to listen to both in one reaction video. 👍🏻
My best friend and I used to listen to this a few years ago, every time we drove to a local river to catch catfish. What's funny is that it kinda fit, because it was the spring and nearly every time we went down there, there were storms passing through. Thankfully, the storms usually barely missed us or only gave us light rain. We would fish all night and almost always catch our limit of 15 blue cat a piece, and a couple of channel cats. Our freezers at home were filled to the brim.
Hank Jr has another son...Sam Williams. He also did Weather man and the album cover looks just like his dad's. Sam also did his grandad's song Rambling Man.... check him out
Most may not know but Hank Williams iii went rogue is not close to his dad sadly he got into drugs and went crazy he has some good songs but he is a rebel to the Williams name he says. He sings cocaine blue’s which he sounds a lot like Hank Williams sr you have to hear Hank Williams sr before you hear Hank Williams iii in my opinion but he does have rebel flag etc so fore warning you to get to Hank williams 3 nothing racist just letting you know

Agreed, react to his live version from the Double Eagle Tour.
