Bittersweet.. it’s pretty hard to stay away from family at first but I guess everyone eventually gets used to it. Anyways, good luck with new chapter in life.
Yeah but I think with this generation it’s different, she is enjoying in the hostel 😀 also colleges now have so many ways to keep the students entertained.
After she graduate she can apply for TN visa it would allow her to work in the USA. She need to become a Mexican citizens since it only apply to Mexican and Canadians.
Just make sure you tell her that the TN visa allows her to work in the USA indefinitely, as it can be renewed for life with no limit. However, it won’t lead to a green card because she was born in India, which can take years. If she allows an employer to sponsor her, she won't be able to renew her TN visa due to dual intent issues. She can obtain a green card through marriage if she finds a husband in the USA, or through investment.
Yo tengo una hija, cuando fui a dejarla a su universidad, se me salieron las lágrimas de cocodrilo 🤣 la escuela de mi hija está a 16 horas de camino en coche. The good thing the college of your daughters It’s no far from your home 😉 Good luck for your kids in their new stage of their life. Now you will have more free time and less work 😉 Enjoy
If it was 16hrs, I would have cried my heart out 😃 this is not far and she can visit us every weekend, so it was more like dropping her at some camp 😃 also she is very excited and liked the campus and hostel, so as long as she is happy, we are happy too
My younger daughter Ananya Nair is freshmen at a University here in Texas. We will be taking her to Guruvayurappan temple tomorrow before she flies back to school after her winter break.
