Savvy Lo Todo the suns are crybabies who, knowing the nba rule about suspension when you leave the bench, blame horry when it was all their fault because they are not disciplined enough to handle such games. it was the oldesylt tactic in the NBA. McHale clotheslining Rambis. The Bad Boys, the Knicks. Shaq and his touching elbows, etc. Growup, be disciplined, play the game, less complaints, maybe your Suns may reach the NBA finals someday.

Best play I've ever seen from a Spurs side was when the ball passed through five pairs of hands and the guy who started the attacking move was the one who finished it (Ginobili vs Miami, 2014 Finals Game 3).

That 3 pointer by Duncan against Phoenix was a Sunday afternoon on ABC. I was getting ready to go play basketball with my friends like we used to do after every Sunday games. That was the same season Duncan was ejected for laughing at the refs and the same season that Horry smashed Nash.
That Duncan three was a Saturday afternoon playoff opener. I went to that double-overtime classic and then attended the Toros' D-League Finals game the same night. You can guess which one did not live up to the legend of the other. The Duncan ejection for laughing by Joey Crawford and Horry hip check on Nash happened the season prior, which culminated in the Spurs' fourth title.

I have a hard time seeing how you could leave off the Horry shot in the pivotal 2005 Finals game 5 in overtime. Other than that great list.

Never has one shot destroyed a team. Portland was dominating SA in that game. They never recovered from that 3 pointer. Shit, you can argue that shot set that franchise back at least 10 years.

It's all about emotion...
I think this video shows us great plays, but misses the point. The beauty and the trademark/brand of the Spurs game is the way they share the ball. If samone asks me what kind of basketball they play, the firs thing that comes to mi mind is team basketball. It could have been Duncan´s team, being Timmy such a extraordinary player, but it wasn´t. Manu could have been starter in almost every team in his prime. But instead he sacrificed his ego for the good of the team. That´s what, IMHO, made this franchise successful.

Sad Spurs are looking nothing like they once did from 98 to 2014...They were definition of a true team. And a few costly mistakes that could of gave them around 9 championships in 15 years.
I dont ever see another team making a run like they did. Nor a team containing a allstar player to win a championship in 3 different decades... THE TRUE GOAT... TIM DUNCAN.
