EVERYONE IS HATING SASSI AND I WOULD AGREE TO A CERTAIN EXTENT, but first we need to UNDERSTAND HER CHARACTER Her dad was a respected person in the society which made her think of him as a role model, therefore she always preferred her dad over her mom, and I get it that it was wrong for her to set up her dad with some dancer but first of all she tried to fix what she thought was wrong with her mom and second thing its just a drama from 7 years ago so it will be extremely dramatic. Now in the episode where she dances we can clearly see that her intention wasn’t to become an actor or something but it was to make her dad special day even better. Later on receiving a slap from her role model makes her rebellious and I guess we can say that that was OK because one she can’t take revenge from her own parent and second thing why would she want to mold her whole loud ravishing and loving personality into the ignorant traditional and stereotypical Pakistani women?? Just to be ignored, neglected and DAMAGED. In this journey of rebellion she loses herself, she forgets who she is, and what her actual dream was, and to be honest when we see her jump off the roof and say that she wasn’t trying to commit suicide makes me thing that her mental health was wrecked and I am not even going to talk about her parents forcing her into a marriage. And then one thing lead to other, where her anger rebellion makes her so blind that she starts to neglect qasims love and when she needed him when she realised that she could only be his he gets married to someone else. It isn’t her fault, her bringing up was faulty she just followed her father’s footsteps
