    Wouldn't getting a ticket technically be considered positive punishment and not negative because you are adding (ticket) a stimuli to decrease a behavior? This is why learning ABA terminology is so frustrating to me - nothing against you or how you teach - but I've noticed it all comes down to wording which is really frustrating during tests! Great video though, it helped a lot

      i saw another video that used the same example. getting a speeding ticket is a negative punishment because its taking away your money that then reduces your frequency of speeding on the street. the ticket symbolizes paying a fine that causes you to lose money. i hope that helps!

      ABA is Applied Behavior Analysis. It is scientific method utilized in teaching new behaviors and analyzing behaviors that are socially significant. It is used with individuals with developmental disabilities, in the hospitals, fitness, classroom, animal training, forensics, rehab etc...
