This was for me. I’m currently dealing with gluttony, had homosexual issues, weed addictions , depression, having to leave old life and old friends because i need to value Jesus and honor Him with my life. Please pray for me that i grow stronger in my faith and relationship with Jesus, that’s all I want❤

As a newborn in Christ, i feel like having this bad habit of putting God in a box because I think my idea of Him is what He is and it really lead to confusion, most of the times but this video made me realize something that i've been missing while praying which is LISTENING. Yes, I need to do more silent prayers so I can listen to Him more clearly but when I'm not being silent, I'm just rambling about some nonsense stuff and need to cut this off hahaha I really appreciate the Holy Spirit for translating my whole heart to God because if wasnt for It, I would be in danger xD Thank God for your ministry, Alex and Lokelani. I had a problem with this before. There was this strange distance between me and God, caused by me constantly mistaking God as only MY God. It caused alot of problems, like a fear of sharing him and a lack of faith that he could change circumstances in my life. Because he was just MY God, not THE God. The one who truly made all things and dwells closely with us. It helped me to meditate on God iw jot the God of my imagination but of all creation.
I think my problem is not being confused with God but myself I am always scared that I am wrong but here s where grace comes, it is okay if I am wrong as long as I am aways trying to seek him in everything I do
right there with you friend, but God is our father. He teaches and loves us so much. Dont you worry, we are all right there with you:)
I was actually JUST praying about how confused I was (from reading the bible) and asking god to help me understand him and what he requires from me, how I can follow him with all my heart
Because somethings seem so contradicting or just confusing and this was the first video to pop up on my feed 😁😁
I was the same way, but as Alex said, when the spirit gives you understanding there is no confusion. God allows things to happen at the right time, don't worry in the wait. Hes got you and will show you at the right time:)

amazing message!! thank you. i do feel like i am confused by God. i do put God into a little box, to fit the things that I want. but he is too big and holy to be in there and that’s why he doesn’t fit in there. Jesus was put on the cross so we can be free and protected.

I struggle horribly with listening to my very own voice instead of the voice of God. I’m so glad I watched this because I am very confused with my purpose, my walk with Christ, and God’s character/will for me. Thank you so much for this beautiful word. Amen!

I absolutely love the example of the music and headphones! So true. So beautiful.
Picture that John - a prophet predicted in scripture - was in prison. His birth was announced to his dad by an angel in the temple. John was reared by that same priest who taught him the law but moreover his mission in life to prepare for messiah. His confusion was through something that would confuse any of us (imprisonment). Jesus pointed him back to that rearing and the years of prep to get confidence that he (John) was indeed in the middle of God's plan having made straight the way for the true savior. John's work was done.
I've just realized that too! I can even presuppose that was God's plan for him to go to prision because if wasnt like that, he and hiss disciples would be a problem to Jesus ministry as he, as a human being, would NOT understand that his work was done. The doubt in his question was received by Jesus like nothing, He even hailed him... Jesus knew everything all along!

You cannot be confused by GOD, like she mentioned in the beginning.
What does the box symbolize for as.
Like what does he mean by saying we put god in a box like when we ignore him?
Nothing too extra. It's just that you lock God away, put Him away and to the side, out of view out of mind. You don't prioritise Him anymore.
By creating a mental box and attempting to define what God can do and who He is - we are creating parameters in our head for God. This is a pride and arrogance thing. He is God, He is the Creator, the author of all things, things we will never comprehend. Amen! 🙏🏼
We tend to think of God as having limitations that we would have or the plan we imagine. John questioned Jesus because his "box" never pictured God allowing his faithful service as a prophet to put him in chains in jail. John wouldn't be around to lead his followers. He might die. He was asking Jesus "Hey - I know what I saw and what I heard and what they're telling me. But God never told me your promotion would put me in shackles. Are you REALLY the Messiah?"
