Starcraft 2 Beta 2v2 Awesome Comeback p.2/2

SECOND PART
In this match where I (EggsandBacon) play as terran and my teammate SafetyFirst plays as protoss, I may not be much of a pro, my cpm/apm are rather low and I don't play amazingly efficiently or anything, but I still manage to help my teammate out when he gets harassed by several waves of protoss units. Then, in a great comeback I manage to beat both of the guys on the other team after my teammate gets taken out with some great reaper play and a strong push to the finish. To SafetyFirst's credit though, he took all of their attacks and I was able to concentrate on getting a great blitzkrieg force together in the meantime.

Not a pro game by any means but still an entertaining game. You are a dedicated team mate. The few times when your teammate looked like he could handle a fight on his own, you still sent back up. Much respect. I'll give you a lot of credit for that.

@sartigan943 i understand, it wasn't as much of a comeback as you might've hoped but i don't usually do as well as you saw in the video so i thought of it as one. :)
Think of it more like the first game that i managed to win when my partner was taken out first among all players.

I particularly liked this game because I mainly just lucked out, they didn't touch me once and I managed to help out my partner with reapers without losing them all.
Most 2v2 come down to one ally getting slaughtered by a double team attack and then you do your best but can lose easily due to being outnumbered. I decided to stick around and see what I could do, and they weren't prepared for it I guess.
Most of all, it was really fun!

the quality of ur videos are great me and my friends play SC2 all the time and i was just wondering how u record to an editing program because i know how to sav the replay i just don't know how i will get it into i Movie...(i have a mac)

@happyhonker123 you know I don't entirely know why but for some reason I thought of it as mules on the natural would work better for some reason.
I see both sides of the coin in that regard, I think for people like me who are (even still) trying to get a hang on constant macro, its best to let SCVs gather as much minerals from the main for as long as possible since I constantly forget to go move them.

@chase169 no disrespect taken. I know the other team wasnt terribly good, if he scouted me (not that I did) he could have definitely countered the marines and marauders by building something other than void rays.
They were definitely noobs but I'm no great shakes myself either so I'd like to think it was a kind of even field to a degree.

Its stupid to expect everybody to be great at the game.
Its a game for all players and considering your skill level you were focused enough.
I like how your teammate did alot of good basic work to let you focus.
He was a good partner.
I am not good at SC either but I enjoy trying and thats what counts.

I am saying that tier two units kill main buildings to fast. Like when a few stalkers killed the purples guys undefended one way fast

I think you should have counter-attacked after the protoss rushed your ally for the first time... given how many zeals he committed to that attack, I bet you could have wiped out his entire base with three reapers.

nice game but your team had the upper hand once the lair went down so you were never really behind.
another minor thing i noticed is why build so many mules on your natural when your main was about to run out of minerals. should've just transferred some scv's and save on food. like i said.. minor

hhhmm everything you are saying is true, yet I do feel that the main building in this game die a little to fast, counting other games I have seen with better players. but of course i would need a beta key to know for sure.

You carried your teammate, and for some reason, had only one pylon powering most, if not, ALL, of his buildings... but really... 2000 minerals? You could do a lot with those resources instead of just marines/marauders

yeh I have to agree man, this is not really a comeback, considering the protoss was merely assaulting rather than invading your partner. And the other 3 players weren't so great players either. The Zerg dude had pretty much nothing, after all this time

srry man.... this isn't a comeback really... the zerg player had like 6 hydra....
and the protoss player was trying to kill marines with voidrays!!
you were the best of the game... your partner didn't have any units but neither the ennemi...

nice flamebait. I mentioned I'm no pro, I'm bad at scouting I know but you're an idiot for saying this wasn't a comeback: normally in 2v2 if your partner dies you're dead in an even match, and as you agree, I'm bad at the game. I never said I was good, I said it was a nice comeback.
Maybe everyone is bad compared to you, but it doesnt mean they cant have even games where they do OK and win.
I call having the odds against you but you "come back" after your teammate is killed and win a comeback.
