    With a huge hotspot and without Sharp cut-offs this seems like a very useful light. No light of this size is going to continuously run 5000 lumens but I think 1500 lumens for over an hour is performing better than most flashlights.

    Great review, my friend. I love acebeam. I have the L19 2.0 green, which is so awesome. I also picked up the W35, and that lep is extremely fun. I really want to pick this light up... What are your thoughts on the lattice version? Thank you,my friend.

      😂 I Forgot to add I dropped a sub! 😀 I have a huge flashlight addiction and your channel is great and educational.
      I'm so excited I am getting the IMALENT MS32 about January 15. I am extremely excited to see that power. I love my Sr32 , I use it to check my mail sometimes for fun, I'm pretty sure the neighbors think it's an alien invasion 😂😅

    The floods are really great, with a good throw so I think L35 is better than X10 ultimately

    This would be great with the same switch and UI as the L17.

    For temperature testing i like using a high grade thermal gun like a FLIR, you can not only read the temperature but see where it is.

      Ya one of those would be great, unfortunately they are very expensive for a good one that's accurate. Let me know if you want to sponsor one for future testing.

    The side switch is very easily activated, so it definitely needs to be locked out to carry it. BUT!!! when you lock the side switch on any of the dual switch L series, it also locks the tail cap switch!! Why is no-one mentioning that? I am kind of funny in that I want my ":tactical" light to turn on when I grab it! I do not want to have to unlock the button or tighten the tail cap first. How did they let this come to market this way? I am a collector and avid flashlight user who owns 115 lights currently, 18 of which are acebeam, so I am definitely not ragging on the brand. I hope they correct this and I feel sorry for all of us who got one that functions this way. Part of me is just upset because I want these lights to play with and carry but the are relegated to bag or backup with this issue.

    Very handy review , thanks! How would you compare the L35 to the Wurkkos TS30S? My usage is mounting it on a motorcycle as an optional auxiliary light. Thanks :)

    Hi, how does the L35 compare with the Thrunite catapult v6 sst70 in terms of throw distance and spill? Thanks for the videos.

    • @LiquidRetro
      @LiquidRetro  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Off the top of my head the Catapult sst70 is going to have a larger hot spot and be more floody I think.

      @@LiquidRetro Hope they got something with more punch. With a nichia nubm31t they could reach 40 000 lumens.

    08:15 I kinda wish more flashlight makers would program the turbo to be momentary only.

      @@LiquidRetro I was wondering, the new "tab" looks way overkill, do you think they are just making it futureproof and that the internal impedence will be lower as they upgrade the other components? I heard that the power density of solid-state batteries was about 10 times higher.

    • @LiquidRetro
      @LiquidRetro  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The tabless design is for improved energy density and speed of manufacturing each cell. There has been the promise of tons of battery tech but very few seem to make it to market in scale. I'll reserve judgment till they make it out of the lab.

    • @johntheux9238
      @johntheux9238 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LiquidRetro Well, it allows bigger cells without increasing the electrical path, but in fact the electrical path was reduced by 5 times so it's way better than needed.

    Hmmmm 3X the price, lower performance and much bigger than an Astrolux EC03...and no Anduril. Next!

    • @JohnSmith-ul3rd
      @JohnSmith-ul3rd 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Astrolux is always one button show (and different UI in each model). Not a single tactical model as the years go by.
