Hey, thanks for the comment! Changing the key isn’t just about making it easier by going lower-it’s more about finding a key where you can still access the upper part of your chest voice. That upper range is where we naturally yell or get someone’s attention, like in situations where you need to project or cry out. In the case of this song, when Ed Sheeran sings “baby, dancing in the dark,” it’s more about that emotional outburst rather than just hitting a high note. The key isn’t about reaching the highest possible note-it’s about finding your high note, where your voice sounds the best and still has power. For me, that’s around E natural to F sharp, so I like to choose a key that allows me to sing in that range comfortably. Everyone’s range is different, and it’s about what works for your voice, not just aiming for the highest note possible. Thanks for watching 🤘
The part where it goes “baby I’m dancing in the dark” gosh thats my fav part, I mess it up every single time but you did it so easily 😭 I need practice fr.
Thank you for this, I loved the first tutorial and this follow-up is great! Any chance for a part 3, the whole thing together for a complete cover in your key? Do you have a list of a few pop songs that you really enjoy singing, that you don't need to modify the key for your range?
You did what you said 😭 it's awesome ❤
Ha I always try!
THANK YOU!!
You're welcome!
