edit: not sure why people thought I was insulting Kaze but okay. I was asking a genuinely technical question. I figured the entity of the flame was unchangeable for some reason or w/e and was curious.
The default flames are Red, so I don't see that being something about lazy.

I completed the game and found it really amazing.
I found some graphical glitches such as the Castle at the beginning of certain levels has an invisible block which can be encountered by jumping.
And some enemies were really hard to beat such as the Flying Cheep Cheeps, because I was not able to stomp on them, if it comes from below it will kill you without any way to dodge it.
And why there was no Fire Flower, just the mushrooms turn me into Fire Mario. Maybe you should add one.
Overall, I would give the game a rating of 9/10; it just needs some tweaks and it will get 10/10.
And a suggestion: Wario seems too hard, how about some buffs for it like certain enemies can only be defeated as Wario.

I thought someone would at least try to do that.
Well some of kaze's hacks have the improved wall jump from DS.
Also net64 has all of the characters from DS and Last Impact has silver stars

That would be pointless, since it's linear. The 10 can't go to different levels to collect stars like in SM64.

Anyone else experience a crash on grabbing first star on real hardware via everdrive?
Yes. After that lockup, the game won't even work anymore and makes it so the Everdrive won't load roms until I power off then on again. It's strange the game doesn't run anymore other than the first run I tried.
