Jonna Martinez At this point I've made 6 hats and they're all pretty great actually. And the best part....my 16 yr old son has asked me to teach him so he can make his own. In the end, your video has brought me more happiness than you could ever imagine. I can't thank you enough!
it's my first time ever with this crochet talk....I do craft wool, but with the niddles... still like it anyway (though it was like speaking Chinese xD)
So on row 8 I didn't have Bobby pins or clips to use as markers for each increase, so I ended up laying it flat on a table and pulled out a hand full of change from my pocket, evenly spaced out 10 coins and just counted the spaces in-between each coin 😂
I wish I knew what I might be doing wrong but I get the same product as you up until 9:41. My project stays as a circle and there’s no way this turns into a beanie. Any help would be appreciated.
You should be able to find that in the actual template and design that is in the link in the description. I have to look because I have to make the hat larger for my brother as he has thick hair.
You can view and print the pattern for free, check out the description box. There you can see the numbers for the larger size. Thank you for watching and commenting! I’m so happy you enjoy my channel 💕
The only thing from this project that I don't understand is the 8th round. I read the instructions and followed along in the video, but I am 3 short on the round, and can't figure out where I went wrong. Is there a proper way of evenly spacing out the stitch markers, or are you just eyeballing it?
No proper way, just eye ball it. Make sure as you go each round has the right number of stitches. If you are still short 3 then just Back up, add three and continue. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Yes, I agree. My husband wears it but he complains the same. You can always do the last rows in a ribbing. Front post back post dc or hdc. This will tighten it up.
I base my tutorials on patterns. The way I made my hat is not always exactly the same as the pattern. But the way I made my hat is exactly the way I show the video. Thanks for watching!
Thankyou very much for your help, my hat looks decent enough to wear in public.
This is very great! Thank you for watching and commenting.

This is a good plan! A contrasting piece of yarn works when you don’t have coins. Thank you for watching and commenting.

+Minister Dr. Cheryl Benefield you can try it! Thank you for watching and commenting.
I see you have mention the length of the hat, but can anyone tell me the dimension around the head at the end?
You should be able to find that in the actual template and design that is in the link in the description. I have to look because I have to make the hat larger for my brother as he has thick hair.

Hi , How do I be sure that the hat is fix for another person who she isn't near me?
My hat doesn’t sit flat like yours at row 8 and is not straight across the top - I had 94
stitches. Where did I go wrong please?
Where iam find this ..cap chart ?? Any idea
I love your nail polish!!! Can you tell me the brand?!!
+Mai Moua these nails are Matte press on nails I got at they are called imPRESS

My hat is smaller than what you made. I used the same hook
Well that’s good! Most of the time this hat is too big. You must crochet tighter than I do. Thank you for watching!
Don't know where I went wrong because mine turned out very loose. There was no head band to secure hat on head.
Mine did too..do you remover how did you fix it?
Didn't fix, scrapped and chose a different psttern. The "worm hat" also on youtube.
I’m puzzled. There’s no real decrease to form the “slouch”, it’s more of a “flop”, and unfitted.🤨☹️ How can I shape this, so the hat stays in warmly?
I’m not sure..... I was just following the red heart pattern....
thanks for watching though!
same thing happened to me
it IS very handsome :)
+Suzane Shireman thank you for watching and commenting 👍
Wow. I want to make this. But I know absolutely nothing about crochet. Can anybody point me to some beginner level videos where I can start learning?
😍😍😍
um how do I use the needle? where do I saw it?
+Dynasty Leslie the yarn needle is for sewing in ends.
Thank you for watching and commenting!
Like the beginning of this pattern but the end seems too loose..
Yes, I agree. My husband wears it but he complains the same.

Jonna Martinez do you mean one after the other over and over
Yes front . back . repeat around. 💕
@@JonnaMartinezCrochet I do not understand. can you explain it clearly please
Banana bread recepy
You did not follow the pattern? Youre up to 10dc inc..how about the 12dc inc?

Cool! Thank you for sharing! God bless! Love hugs and prayers! O:-)
she does not have stich markers evenly i counted them some are 8 some are 7 another 10
I know this was three years ago sorry for that. How many stitches do I need to skip to make it evenly? 10?
Don’t like it
