the parallels between Laurence/Orphan and DoH/Isshin are unreal, both are the hardest fights in their respective games, one is optional and the other is final, one's a big monkey monster and the other is a humanoid on par with the player, one fights with fire attacks and the other fights with lightning, one's a crock of bullshit that doesn't flow well with the gameplay and other is extremely fair and still whoops your ass
Very interesting how different bosses affect people differently. My first playthrough of this DLC I did it on NG+. Took me around 50 attempts to beat the orphan but literally only one try to beat Laurence. Now I can usually first try orphan but Lawrence takes a couple tries. Very interesting game, always keeps me on my toes!
My first time beating Orphan, I had to stop and come back the next day as well. Beat him almost immediately when I was fresh, after hours of frustration the previous night. I feel like Bloodborne had the best DLC of any game I've ever experienced. I thoroughly enjoyed watching you struggle through it as I did. :)
I wish I did that and saved some of what sanity I had left but my stubborn ass just couldn't put down that pad. Eight hours of getting my ass handed to me before I finally beat him, pretty sure the Orphan gave me PTSD
the sweet child of kos is the boss that broke me. it took a lot of tries but i was able to eventually nail down his first phase to not use any blood vials to save em for the second phase. the second phase took some time to get the hang of but i was able to fell the beast. such a rush of adrenaline after beating him.
I remember feeling like an absolute god beating all the bosses first try on my very first attempt, and then ORPHAN AND HIS BITCH ASS SHARP PLACENTA HEADASS whooped my ass so many god damn times, I think it took me like 34 attempts to finally get him and even then I was so close to dying and I'm pretty sure if I tried it again j wouldn't be able to do it.

You're definitely not alone in despising Laurence, my first 3 attempts with him made me more salty than anything else in the series, cool theme tho
Your not a true souls/ elden ring/ bloodborne player if a boss or mini boss doesn’t make you wish to commit the die
bro has NOT fought bed of chaos or get 1 shotted full hp postendgame cuz ds1 puts you in ng+ after the shit final boss...
the parallels between Laurence/Orphan and DoH/Isshin are unreal, both are the hardest fights in their respective games, one is optional and the other is final, one's a big monkey monster and the other is a humanoid on par with the player, one fights with fire attacks and the other fights with lightning, one's a crock of bullshit that doesn't flow well with the gameplay and other is extremely fair and still whoops your ass
Ludwig in 13 attempts is actually kinda crazy
Lady Maria and Orphan of Kos were so ahead of their time. They are so fast and aggressive compared to everything else in this entire game.
I like how the living failures was replaced by the well of agony
9:21 The way he immediately climbed back up to the top.🤣 That thing scared the sh*t out of me.
Can we comment on how good zanny has become at fromsoft games? Near the start of elden ring understandably he didn't seem to be all that great but now he is making orphan of Kos seem easy. Good job zanny
zanny: finishes bloodborne
the universe: shines a red light through his door and blasts the ds3 main theme
Zannys greatest weakness, fall damage
9:27 High Pitch Zanny Is The Cutest Zanny
Adorable
How’s Laurence going, have you beaten it yet
Love how Ludwig’s theme is so good zanny had to acknowledge it
20:09 Has Me Crying🤣🐺
Apart from just being completely hilarious, the thing I love most about these videos is the editor and Zanny bringing the volume down every time he screams in pain. I can appreciate the hilarity without my eardrums dying. Salamat Kuya Zanny
Say what you will about Laurence, his music fucking slaps
13:17 felt satisfying to see
Nice! I rarely see people using the Cainhurst Armor, which I think looks amazing. There should be a guide by Fexralife or something for a Blood Knight build (Cainhurst Armor, Lochshield, Chikage).
Peoples reactions to the fucking amazing theme to Ludwig is my favorite thing. Stressing out in the bossfight then mid fight going "This slaps" the back to stressing.
Wow, great vid Zanny! Can't believe you did it all on NG+ for your first time through the DLC, and you still managed to kill all bosses without reseting a bunch. You are officially a God Gamer 😎
lady maria of the astral clocktower is still my #1 favorite fromsoft boss to fight.
you can definitely see a throughline from maria>friede>malenia and while the other two have their strengths, maria is still definitely the best example of this category of boss
Zanny spent more time fighting the Ogre Brothers in this video than I ever have in 7 years of playing the game
I was so bitterly hoping Zanny would get the triple Parry on the leaping overhead
Ludwig's screaming reminds me of the "let me put my cat on the mic" video. (Also the music during his fight is legendary)
As someone that has done this dlc so many times now you will almost always need beast blood pellets and fire or bolt paper to do good damage to the bosses
Also my main tip for Orphan is to dodge to his right or your left. I know this works because it always helps me
6:09 final boss jump scare.
