    These eagles have to feed their young and it's true for anything that lives in the wild....they live on meat/fish they don't live on plants...so where do you think they will get it? I know it's hard to watch for some people but it's how these Eagles survive. I am so amazed at how Eagles teach their young step by step, they are such good parents. They both build the nest, take turns on the nest, take turns nurturing/protecting their young, teaching them to do things on their own until it's time for them to fly away on their own ...which is the hardest part for me. :) Thank You! liznm for sharing!

      "sentience" and "morality (as a kind of social rule)" are imaginary, psuedo-science concepts invented to excuse our abuse of non-human animals and to fabricate an undeserved sense of superiority over them

    That looks like smaller eaglets! Have never seen such a crazy thing, it's very upsetting((((.
    The Eagless probably didn't want to chop the prey because she felt it was something of the same species.

    is always the same history, people trying to humanize nature, when in fact we are the most cruel creatures as we do horrible things to each other with malice and for our own benefit, animals just react to their physical needs with no malice or benevolence, there's no good or bad, they are far from the human constructs of good and evil, realize that evil and good are just that, human fabrications, rules tat we impose to ourselves.

    • @starter47990
      @starter47990 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You dont get to determine that. You have no idea. I've seen animals act out of anger, mourn, etc

    • @marzbitenhaussen
      @marzbitenhaussen 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Onyedikachi Ibeji yes they might get angry or afraid but those feelings are liberated from malice or benevolence, they don,t get angry because they think is bad or good they just react, anger in humans is similar the only thing is we have a chance to tame those feelings applying our constructs and frameworks of what is good or bad.

    • @tcoleman8665
      @tcoleman8665 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Humans truly are the cruelest animals...bullies imposing their will on others for personal gain when it is not necessary for survival. Animals don’t have the frontal cortex to make such decisions. All of their decisions are a matter of survival. Humans are just plain MEAN. Animals act to survive.

    • @DoggoWillink
      @DoggoWillink 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@tcoleman8665 And which animals are the least cruel, or more importantly, capable of the opposite? Humans. Humans are the only species on Earth that can, alone, increase the net moral good of this universe. We can literally save species from going extinct, or cause other species to thrive far beyond what they would’ve (dogs and house cats are the two most obvious examples). We can create music, literature, science and mathematics, etc. And we can also do the opposite, because that’s what this capability brings with it.
      Every other animal on this planet, in fact every other organism from single cell upwards, simply survives through ingesting other organisms. In some advanced species, basic society, feelings and moral codes can occur, but not much more. We are the only species with the consciousness level capable of doing more. With great power comes great responsibility.

      @Jamie Koering thanks for the condescending comment . yes I know about birds of prey and siblicide and I accept it but accepting doesn't mean I enjoy watching it. I saw siblicide in bald eagles, WBSE (Australia), and recently in mazais ērglis nest and last year we almost lost a chick in the nest I'm moderating - I'm still wondering how he survived. I've been watching on and off Raimis and Milda nest, saw many hard sibling rivalry but never at this point - Terzo with parents bringing him back to the nest so it can be killed. and seeing live preys being eaten alive isn't enjoyable to me even if it's "nature".
      maybe I'm a "fainted heart" or a little kid but I'm appreciated by many people who follows birds of prey. appreciated for my knowledge and also for the empathy I have towards them. it looks like it's a default to have empathy for some people.
