    Thanks fella. I'm gonna give it a go. Gave thumbs up immediately because I knew by your approach you were going to explain it properly. Much appreciated because I am a 55 y.o newbie in this flatland game. Just built up a bike and yet to get out on it. Cheers from Australia man!

    Dude I'm sooooo glad I'm subscribed. I just got my Haro street bike modified quite a bit to be more flatland type cause that's my jam. I'm 44 and haven't done flatland since I was a kid but I love it. My main thing is learning all over again. Just got better tires custom handle bars Odyssey gyro and clutch freecoaster. But I have a hard time with peg wheelie. I'm only 5 ft 9 bike is 20.5 top tube and I really feel I need smaller top tube or flat specific frame. Like 18.9 or so. Thoughts? Appreciate any feedback my man and really dig your love for flatland and your attention to detail but keeping and explaining things very easily. Peace out. ✌️

      You’ve got some good parts on your hair. It is probably a bit big for you for flatland, but not too bad. A lot of the flatland complete bikes are 18.5-19”, which would be a good size for you. But, not necessary. You could still get a lot of tricks down on your Haro. What model Haro is it?

      @@flatlandjourney Haro Shredder Pro DLX 20. But I modified with chromoly handle bars Odyssey gyro that's chromoly plastic pegs freecoaster that's I mentioned and new alienation tires... although I might exchange the tires because they're only 85 psi. Really know I should have something 100 psi

      @@jaredharrison30 ya you have really modified it well. I only ride about 85psi, and I actually like it. Even though my friend items are rated higher

      You’ve probably heard this before but the best bike for you is the bike you already have

    im right foot forward but my left foot is my dominant foot when doing these. should i just switch it up and make my right dominant too for flatland?

    • @flatlandjourney
      @flatlandjourney  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a good question. When you spin, do you naturally spin to the left or right?

    • @PastaEnt
      @PastaEnt 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Left

    • @flatlandjourney
      @flatlandjourney  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PastaEnt ok, so in that case you spin the traditional way. Since your natural spin is to the left, it would be normal for you to use your right foot as your dominant foot when you peg wheelie. Once you start learning more flatland tricks this will become more and more important. However, you can use it to your advantage that you already feel comfortable on your left foot. This can come in handy! So don’t feel like it is a bad thing. If you are comfortable using both feel, it opens up more tricks! Keep it up.

      That’s awesome man! I used to live in Oceanside. I don’t usually go up there much these days but it would be cool to ride together sometime. Send me an email with your contact info to Kevin.thorsell1@gmail.com

    Is this trick require high pressure tires ?

    • @flatlandjourney
      @flatlandjourney  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should be able to do it no problem even without a high pressure tire. However, high pressure is recommended for flatland BMX.
