That's the idea; it's supposed to look like the promotional art / silicon graphics models. If you don't already know, this is called the Render 96 project. You should check out Unreal's videos that specifically showcase it, it's really good.

ya know, now with Mario 3D all-stars out, Nintendo could've updated their graphics on Mario 64 on the way it was MEANT to look like. we couldn't get these graphics back then cause their computer power was not strong enough. But Nintendo could've did this now. Idk why they didn't:(

Although I prefer to just play with the original graphics, that HD texture pack looks pretty good. A lot of the time with "HD" Texture packs they just end up looking like shit.
Could you post an updated tutorial of how to get the port me and my brother wanted to do coop be neither one of us knows how to get the game on our PCs
