I need this one for my 1984 c10 I got the bench seat in it I need the 6.2 double din 8in cut out 1" tweeters cut out and a eq cut out with 2 cup holders no wrap just the regular wood look
It's a router table with a flush trim bit. It's perfect for stuff like consoles and door panels when you need to make exact copies. All the original cuts were made with a jig saw though
@@treveonalexander5452 yeah 1/2" is strong enough for the smaller speakers and the radio. 3/4" is pretty much bulletproof in that setup though, just bulkier
@@joshuamorgan1243 yeah I had to sort of make up dimensions based on pictures of other consoles. Might have to slide the speakers more towards the back in the next design

This was pretty much a one off for somebody out of town. If I did another one I'd want it to be local so I could test fit everything during the build process
Nice work

I'd make it but I'd have to have the truck here to do test fits and get measurements first
Badass work brotha 👍🏼
Thanks man 💯
Great job ...sir ...
Thanks
just subscribed, where do you get the stainless cup holders from?

@@robertboyero3797 this was in a customer car. I haven't seen it since I dropped this off to him
Hey, what’s up bro are you doing do you build center consuls for other vehicles like at 87 Camaro
Hey, no I don't. I would need the car here to get measurements and test fit everything
What size wood did you use
Bro whats the name of that table saw. You just inspired me to do my own

The rounded edges were done with a 45° chamfer bit
Good content!
Thanks man 💯💯
Good skills looks nice
Thanks
How much to you charge for making consoles I need one done for a 88 box chevy
I'm only doing local builds right now until I get some good measurements and templates setup. Starts at $400 though

@@89imp03 what kind of bit you used on the router for 45 degree angle?
@@87ChevyCaprice I think it was a half inch 45° chamfer bit
@@89imp03 thank you
@@87ChevyCaprice no problem
3/4 inch wood?
I think this was 1/2"
I normally save the 3/4" for sub boxes
@@89imp03 cool deal it looked like 1/2 inch most people use 3/4 for consoles but the 1/2 inch don’t look to bulky 💯💯💯

What’s the measurements on the console build
I can't find the sheet I had with the specs but it wasn't a perfect fit. I still had to tweak it some once I was able to have access to the car
Yea same problem I’m goin thru I jus couldn’t get the right length and width because my console speakers were touching the in dash radio

nice vid bro...I have a 86 caprice..Let's do business asap bro!
I'd have to have the car here to get the right fitment. This one wasn't as flush as I wanted it to be
@@89imp03 ima be honest..it doesn't even have to be flush bro...I just need one done for a 86 caprice..like I said doesn't have to be flush at all
@@yellaboidre9905 I'd still need some measurements. I don't have any of these templates anymore
