I have been waiting for this disc for months! Can't wait to get my hands on one. Love the Escape, and love the royal plastic for Lat 64, which I think this is based off of.
It's exactly the same plastic. Latitude64 owns a large share of Dynamic Discs, and Dynamic Discs and Latitude64 co-own Westside Discs. The deal seems to be that Dynamic gets discs in new Lat64 plastics about a year after Lat64 invents it. They also own a substantial portion of Kastaplast, which had the "nex-edge" or whatever it's called since 2013. The kastaplast k1 plastic is also right between Gold Line and Royal Grand, so I'd assume that Lat64 got some really good input on plastic-making and flashless molding from Kastaplast. Smart moves businesswise, and the fact that they don't just consume the companies they buy in to but help them with manufacturing, QC and brand recognition is just smart, imo. Can't wait to see trilogy players get access to kastaplast discs though. Some of them overlap a lot, but neither Trilogy company has anything like the Berg, so that'd be cool to see.
Wow! I never thought I would see Molt on my home page ever again, just got into disc golf and couldn’t be more happy to see you in the game as well. Huge fan!
As much as I have enjoyed the videos of your rounds & seeing your game prgoress. Really enjoying seeing you try all these different discs. This escape looks great & great plastic.
If you're going to be at World's in Emporia, Dynamic Discs will release it in-store on Friday the 2nd. An online release of the prototypes is unknown at the moment.
I do have Escapes in various weights and plastics. Only recently have i been putting them into my bag…they have taken over for all of my misplaced Mavericks. I am looking forward to the Supreme plastic. I noticed that someone commented that it looks like its based on Latitude’s Royal Line, but from your video it looks like K1 Soft from Kastaplast. Any comment?
Picked up two of these from the DD auction page, the blue prototype which is supposedly a little more domey than the one you have (only 200 made). Also got the one you have.
Don’t throw an escape but am interested in the supreme plastic. If it’s comparable to the royal line plastic that will be sweet. A supreme plastic trespass will be awesome
I need to know RIGHT NOW how you got that disc? I have been waiting for that lineup for at least 6 months!!!! P.S. Your DD Dyemax page link does not work for me, not sure about others "/ P.P.S. What is the release date for this disc? It was supposed to be summer and I heard fall now...any ideas?
So, is this going to beat in to be slightly less stable than a lucid escape probably? Because if the plastic is similar to the royal plastic, I feel it'll beat in to be pretty under stable after a season. My grace is pretty under stable after one or two seasons, so now I bag two. one old, and one newer. My flippy and my stable/neutral.
If you compare it to the Gold line, very similar. Just less glide. I have no idea in terms of feel of the plastic, but the way he described it i imagine it flies similar
@@tealgt350.discgolf That makes a lot of sense. I'd like a disc that fights out of the turn a bit more than the saint does, and I'm guessing with that 5 glide it might do just that?😅
@@joakimnh if you’re looking for more stable then the new Bear is pretty solid. I haven’t beat mine in enough to get it to flip yet but it holds a line, 2.5 fade will catch you if you dont give it the power but its one of my new favorites for long left shots!
@@tealgt350.discgolf Yeah I've been considering the new Bear aswell. Because I've like three 9 speed discs that is beat in to fly exactly the same. Which is quite meaningless🤣. But I will check out the Bear. Thanks for your advice😁
Kinda sounds/looks like the K1 Soft plastic from Kastaplast. By far my favorite plastic with great durability and incredible hand feel that gives me a ton of confidence off the tee.
I just picked up a paul mcbeth hades and threw it the other day. Man, its quickly become one of my favorite drivers, especially for my forehand throws. Ive always had a good forehand, and this is such a compliment to my game that i cant reccomend it enough.
I've bagged an Escape since I started 2.5 years ago. I had one that was super beat, great hyzer flip turnover disc but gave it away in the Christmas disc exchange. It hurt cause I'd gotten so many birdies with it but just hope whoever got it is loving it as much as I did. I have a Fuzion and a lucid moonshine and they just go really straight and really far. As I've gotten better I can disc down and a lot of times I'm throwing Stag now for the 330ft tunnel shots. If I need distance tho on the course my Escape is the fastest disc I carry right now.
I thought the same thing when I bought mine, but I've kept using it and it definitely requires a higher arm speed and has a long break in period due to the high quality plastic. It definitely doesn't feel like a normal escape but almost like an escape os to start which serves as a good utility disc aside other escapes until it breaks into your liking.
You know I’m sponsored by them? So when I try out new discs from my sponsor I want to film it and show it. You like round vlogs better with all my trilogy discs just not a few?

You’ll love it then!

I love my Fuzion Escape, it hyzer flips and turns really nicely. Looking forward for the Supreme.

This escape looks great & great plastic.
Damn I'm waiting for the Supreme Trespass, been using trespass as max distance driver lately and absolutely love it. Can't wait..
Love the trespass! First driver I could get that S curve out of
I bag 3 escapes best disc ever with 2 back ups all with different flights , can’t wait to get one of those supreme molds

I LOVE the gummy type plastic. The Royal/Grand plastic by lat64 is my favorite, cant wait to get my hands on one of these!!
watching that escape fly makes me wonder about mine. mine is as stable as my tee bird3 doesnt turn at all.

Awesome ,I love escapes and have 4 of them . prime burst, lucid air, Kona Panis orbit, and my Reaper Flame Fuzion. Definitely gonna make it 5 .
Correction - it is DD's version of the Royal Grand plastic, not orbit. Orbit is just Gold line with a halo. Love your vids tho!
Is it like Kastaplast K1?
Sure looks shiny like it.
I have a somewhat beat in 171 lucid that has a nice understable flight. I gotta get a new escape
Cant wait. Escape is one of my favorites!
I throw escape can't wait for new plastic, also tresspass is main drive and I hear there coming out with that in in this plastic can't wait
I’m really impressed with how well you hit lines. Any tips on how to be more consistent hitting lines?
Or ways to practice
I actually have a video on this channel about hitting lines and not missing. Just search for michael holt stop missing

Love my Kona Orbit Escape. How would you say the supreme plastic differs from the orbit plastic?
Feels pretty similarly honestly. It’s like the Royal plastic vs orbit. Feels close
They started advertising Supreme so long ago that I forgot about it. I look forward to getting one of these
I saw this video in my suggested and clicked it. I didn't realize Molt played disc golf! Nice video dude!
Heck yea!
I have 3 escapes in my bag. I'm absolutely ordering (at least) 1 of these lol

I was hoping for a comparison to other escapes.
Bought a beautiful blue one yesterday 👍🏻🥏
Ready to see you on coverage
Haha I wish. I’m an old dog. At 35 I don’t think I’ll ever play in a big dog tourney

Yes I’m sure it’ll beat it. We’ll find out soon enough lol
@@MHDiscgolf wait, did I win a something?
Awe nvm, I think I got one of those text me on telegram replies. That was weird.
How does it compare to the Latitude 64 Saint?

Think it’ll replace your stags?
No way, I love my stags too much. It is a great disc though. I feel like I can throw it a little harder / farther than the stags
Links Don’t Work
The grand/supreme plastic is one of my favorites right now but can confirm does still have flashing. Trilogy is the worst about false advertising.

why not compare it to escapes in other plastics? i think that would've been a better showing of the plastic
It's an Undertaker.
Nah. Undertaker is garbo. Feels like trash in the hand
Way too stable imo. Bought a couple and selling them. Sticking to orbit escapes.
I thought the same thing when I bought mine, but I've kept using it and it definitely requires a higher arm speed and has a long break in period due to the high quality plastic.
