NEW PARIS (CDG) Star Alliance Lounge Review Airside Non-Schengen

At Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) a NEW Star Alliance Lounge opened airside (after immigration and security) for passengers traveling outside the European Union (Non-Schengen) in October 2023. We visited on Christmas Day and reviewed what the Star Alliance Lounge had to offer. There was food, drinks, snacks, showers, and more offered at this lounge.

The lounge is currently open (as of this video publishing date) Mon-Sun from 6: 00-22:30. It is located in Terminal 1 of CDG when you first encounter the Duty Free shopping area after a very long walk from the ticket counter. Give yourself extra time to get to the lounge, especially if you're flying during a busier hour as you have to get through security, immigration, and long hallways besides the possible crowding of other passengers flying out from CDG.
Star Alliance members who can use the lounge includes United Airlines, Air Canada, Air China, Air India, Air New Zealand, ANA, Asiana Airlines, Austrian Airlines, avianca, brussels Airlines, Copa Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Egypt Air, Ethiopian Airlines, Eva Air, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, SAS, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, Swiss Air Lines, Air Portugal, Thai Airways, and Turkish Airlines. We had United Airlines Business/Polaris tickets to enter the lounge.

Thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed it. The shower is included when using the lounge. As we were there early in the morning it wasn't very crowded but it was busier before our flight at 9: 00. I imagine it gets more crowded at the later hours of the morning and during the early afternoon before flights take off.
As far as reservation, I assume you mean making a reservation for the lounge? As it was included with our United Polaris ticket we never made a reservation to enter, simply scanned our ticket at the automated gates to enter. After the long walk from the check-in desk and through security and immigration it certainly was wonderful to rest and refresh ourselves in the lounge before our long flight to SFO.

It's free for those who are traveling Business or First Class for any of the Star Alliance members, like United Airlines. It does not appear you can pay for lounge access yet for this Star Alliance lounge but you can with others, like at LAX.
