I’ve always had an appreciation for Lethal not knowing all the layers he adds to a song… now I respect the hell out of him. To me Significant Other was peak LB. Still angsty like $3, a groove like no other album and all the elements are mixed perfect. S.O is a perfect album instrumentally with out Fred but he puts the cherry on top with his lyrics of heart break and anger.
Excellent! My buddy has been endlessly referencing this but hasn't told me what its from, he just keeps going "th-th-th-th-think i-i-i-i-ink a a a a a-bout it-t t t t think about it think" ect. NOW I'LL HAVE THE LAST LAUGH!
Kudos man! Excellent job there. Soon I'll be playing some LB songs for a local bar event. Could you help me with some of the samples? I'd appreciate it a lot =)
Brother, this is amazing work. I play in. Bizkit tribute band in Texas. Our DJ could really use your help! Is that something you’d be interested in? Please? lol
Hi man! The main tip is to add some distortion to the sounds. Back in the days Lethal used to have mesa or marshall guitar heads. We use a line6 pod (which we saw him using in Rock Am Ring 2009), and it kinda works. Try this with your vinyls, it'll change your perspective. Then use a synth, those sounds you hear in background are most of the times strings or leads. And the other samples are actually my singer voice, or a riff of my guitar player, or the original samples from Eric b and rakim records. Have fun and good luck for your musical career!! 😎
@@BREAKSTUFFLimpBizkitTribute Here's another question, I use a NUX MG 100 multi fx pedal but i really only want to apply to fx to one of my decks, since i use a controller i think that might be impossible, so is there any other solutions so i can apply the distortion to one deck and have the other play the rest of the song or even have the song play through the speaker without distortion? Would i just have to get a second speaker to play audio and have another just for my deck?
@@CaptainDugog perhaps the easiest solution is to electrically separate your decks, so you can apply the fx only to the channel you need. Otherwise look for sw plugins and do all the thing via pc
Awesome cover, a lot more going on in DJ lethal’s work than you can hear in the originals tracks
You’re damn right!
wait... do you have the originalss?
3:03 - 3:22 ❤❤❤ Something unthinkable

Thanks man. All the samples are home made. Use some synthetizers and add fx on top, the scratch part comes from a Eric B and Rakim song.
How do you have those lethal dj sounds, I want to download them but I can't find it anywhere only the dj no guitar or bass only dj
That's dope! Could you release this track for download?
It would be grate if you explain every function of every instrument

Yo man, you want to collaborate, I have a cover of this font recorded except for Lethal’s part, you want in?
Is there a way i can contact your turntablist, i want to ask him about the samples and if there's a way i can get a rip of all Lethal's samples?

@@BREAKSTUFFLimpBizkitTribute Thank you :D
Kaoss pad 2. Setting 5 works sometimes for me dude, just use what you've got to kill the bass and make it sound gritty
What scratch record are you using?
Eric B & Rakim
Very Nice bro!!!
