    thank you so much. I was wondering how to design a lake bathemetry terrain within Hec-Ras. You made it so simple and smart. Create a detention basin just like creating a river, very inspiring.

    Thanks, Cray with this wonderful educational video. For sure it is one of the best episodes I have ever seen about Hec-Ras modeling.

    thanks a lot Krey. I have 2 ideas please for further contents, if you like: (1) since I ended my PhD I have wondered if is has been modeled in HecRas how climate change alters, along some years/decades, flood frequency via conveyance change due to channel morphodynamics. (2) intake sedimentation and ways to consider trash in the racks.

    Hello Krey,
    Thanks for your helpful videos.
    Would you mind going over 1d-2d coupling particularly ‘connections’; also if you don’t mind using applicable time step in relation to cell sizes, distance between XS & channel depth. If you also talk about calibration.
    Thanks again.

    Good morning please i need help when i add a roadway then i make run unsteady i don't understand the erreur about boundery conditions and they said that HTab parameter for starting elevation is lower than the lowest elevation in the cross section main channel

    • @TheRASSolution
      @TheRASSolution  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      In the geometry editor click on the HTab Param button in the lower left, select the cross section that's giving you trouble, and adjust the starting elevation to be above the low point in the cross section. Alternatively, you can just highlight the whole range and press "reset defaults". If you're still having trouble with it, contact me on www.surfacewater.biz/contact/.

    Hello Users, I just need some insights on Breaklines.I have added breaklines into the 2d mesh area and enforced them as internal connections and entered weir data as top spillway elevation at 700m to the connections assuming they are acting as Embankments/weirs to the reservoir.But After I ran the Unsteady flow model successfully, in the results section in the RAS Mapper Water still flowing over the embankments at 653.55 only without filling the reservoir up to 700m elevation.What Should I do?Here I am attaching the supporting screenshots..Thank you in Advance#HECRAS #2dMODELING
