I’m not a religious person, more like spiritual maybe, but boy am I glad this incredibly talented guy found salvation in music. Hi there, I'm so glad it made you happy. Just wanted to correct a few things that you said, in no way did I find freedom or salvation in my music,. I really honestly did experience Jesus Christ. I made I conscious decision to change my ways and seek Him more and more and He changed me from a life of drug abuse to a life of following Him. I am in no way religious, if you really study what Jesus taught you will see that He was teaching against religion. I believe with all my heart that Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross and forgave us our sins and that whosoever believe in Him shall inherit eternal life. Let's face it, there's good and bad in this world and it's all governed by the spiritual forces behind it. Just like there is a heaven and a hell that Jesus taught on. God is a God of love, mercy, grace and justice. He is the judge of all things. If He was a bad judge He would let all the murderers, rapists, pedophiles just go to heaven, but He is a good judge, a just judge. That is why when we believe in Jesus Christ and is Baptized in His death we also die and be rised to new life in Jesus Christ, so the old man is crucified on the cross. It says in Colossians 1:15 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by[a] him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. Jesus Christ is life, so we need to put our trust in life because He is eternal, all of this life is temporary, I once heard this amazing explanation: Life is like dipping your hand in the vast ocean and pulling it out holding the water in your hand and quickly seeing how the water falls back into the ocean. (The ocean resembling eternity and the little water in your hands is this life. Short and slipping through our hands very quickly. Jesus Christ gives all this to us, we just need to repent from this life, repentance meaning making a 180 degree turn in your life and following Christ.
