    Yeah I installed these on my 06 king ranch and they don’t work, all I get are turn signals.

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Interesting. I wonder if the 2004-2008 F150's don't work then. Seems like everyone that has a 2009-2014 gets all 3 features (turn signal, puddle lamp and heated mirrors).

    I've read several comments on vibrations coming from either side. Have you had this issue at all with this brand? Thanks! Good vid, buddy!

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have seen the passenger side vibrate a little while at highway speeds, but my driver side mirror has been fine. The vibration annoyed me the first few days, but you get used to it pretty quick honestly. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, ItzStoney!

      @Trick Shift Garage right on! I'm a mechanic myself so.. already thinking of ideas to reduce any vibration issues. My mirros will be in next week, if I develop a good solution for this, I'll be sure to comment about it!

      @Trick Shift Garage got the mirrors installed. There is some vibration I'll be working on tomorrow. But overall, satisfied with purchase. Also.. I upgraded the standard filament bulb puddle light to an 18 LED replacement. I highly recommend. But if you do.. the originals are stubborn and will most certainly break. And you will have to modify them a tad. (Not plug and play) but worth the 11 bucks I spent.

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      ItzStoney Awesome! I need to upgrade to LED's too. Those halogens are so dull.

      You have to plug in the wire harness. That's all I did. Make sure it's secured.

    So I just put these on my truck, everything worked except the power adjust on the passenger side. Now on my old factory mirrors the power adjust stopped working sometime ago on the passenger side too. I swapped out the adjust switch knob on the driver door and that didn’t fix it…do you think I ended up with a dud? Any ideas would help. Thanks!

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If your factory mirrors lost power adjust, then I don't think you ended up with a dud. Honestly, I would check the fuse and see if that blew out. Thanks for watching!

    Does the passenger side have a convex mirror? I’m getting mixed reviews on Amazon.

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Chris! Yes, both of them have the convex mirrors. Thanks for watching!

    • @chriswood8703
      @chriswood8703 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! How have they held up? Thinking of pulling the trigger on these…I’m not super mechanically inclined so hoping these will be an easy install.

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The installation was pretty easy honesty. The hardest part was getting the interior door trim to line up perfectly, but even that isn't that hard.
      Mirrors look good, but I do want to preface this by saying I rarely use the top (bigger) mirrors. I use the bottom (blind spot) mirrors for pretty much everything. There is something about the top mirrors that I don't like. You just don't see a whole lot when looking through them (even though they are massive). Instead of being slightly convex so you can see more around you, to me it looks like they are flat (maybe even slightly concave...for whatever reason).
      With that said, the bottom mirrors are pretty big too, so I haven't had an issue. Hope this helps!

      @chriswood8703 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks again for your help man! I just ordered my set now! My existing ones have heat and signals, no puddle lamps though so I’ll be stoked if I gain those.

    • @TrickShiftGarage
      @TrickShiftGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely brother! You will gain puddle lamps with these, which is a nice touch when you unlock your truck. I love the way it looks.
