I think most of these comments here are expecting some horrific, gorey mystery. However, this was simply a really great drama/mystery short about an overbearing father. The set up was really neat, leading us to believe that she was about to do something bad like kill herself, and then maintains that suspense build throughout the rest of the film such as when the blood drops into the water, or the phone call with the kind of creepy grandma. I sat here really expecting granny to have killed her or something. Then the dad goes and finds her and is awashed with relief to see her merely sitting by the water, whittling away. You can really feel the fathers self-awareness at that moment, realising he has been putting too much pressure on her. Really good stuff for a five minute short. Would love to see more like this.
It wasn't really happening and a front to make us think that she is in danger. I guess a glimpse into a panic fathers' mind. The mother was probably a practicing witch that is catholic living in a cottage; I don't know.

It's sad to see that people have lost any sense of what's good. The expectations are for something bloody -- or at least hard to figure out. The mystery of "where she is" gets ignited by the common and pathetic notion that a phone left behind means trouble. In this case, it meant she was paying attention to the right things. Where is she? Mystery enough. Where is he? Mystery enough. What is fatherhood? Mystery enough. What is an emergency? Mystery enough? An wood carver gets a cut, no mystery. No mystery why people imagine the worst. @@resumewriterbrian Most of the viewers don't watch a film from artistic perspective or not cared enough to think deeply. Only those who carefully observes will find the beauty of it.
Its interesting because it starts out as if she is suicidal and than his mom says that one line, and when he finds her you know moving forward he will try to be a better dad, its clever.
Gorgeous. If the mystery of where the mystery is plagues any viewer, that viewer must solve the mystery by seeking peace, quiet, nature, solitude, silence, craft. One cannot find oneself in the cluttered world of noise and notions.
This is such a soothing film. It took me in an INSTANT from genuine worry...to total relaxation. It usually doesn't happen like that. I enjoyed this very much. Bravo for pulling this off---especially on pessimistic me.
Where did the blood come from ? You can't just show something that is does not exist & call it a mystery. There should have been an explanation for the blood drops in the water.
This is very underated the story is great the acting is great the visuals are great the camera work is great just everything about this short film is great this needs more views and praise
ABC 123 out of curiosity, what didn’t you like about it? I thought there definitely was an end - a satisfying one at that; the enigma is “where is his daughter?” And he finds her... in the end.
Lots can happen in 5 minutes shorts, but given the time frame of 48 hours is tough to pour depths in 5 minutes film unless you have tons of experiences. I once created a visual novel within 48 hours with a help of a friend for the storyline, we thought there were no red flags and the readers seems to be enjoying it, at least 72 positive comments were received. Although, upon trying to refine and make an update for the visual novel, I found there's so many red flags that only those who carefully observes will find. I found them, so that's not a good sign.

It came from the hand because she was testing the knife to see if it was sharp that’s why she grasped it in her hand
That's the clue
the drops of the blood is Because she had menstruation
@mehrimazedehI asked her myself, she’s my sister so I had an easy way out

She killed the dog and she has that killing instinct.
But we could hear the dog in middle of the film.
