Good question, There is no problem if you just put a transition, but if it is combined with an fx like shake etc the keyframes will collide, you can try it yourself how troublesome it is if that happens.

What's the need to add 3 Nulls if you don't use the third one? I get adding 2, the first is the In Transition and the second is the Out Transition.

usually I use three nulls just in case I need additional keyframes for example like a fake zoom effect or something else, if only need two, use two, no problem.

@@Zuki010 before you add null, you can pre compose your clip to separate, to add effect like neon etc you can add effect inside the pre compose or you can use adjustment layer outside pre compose above null layer to add any effects like warp etc 👍
