I think Tachibana was 2 times champions of Japan , but they have been always at the top . To me it's not important if everything is perfecly played or executed . Musically they are so awesome along with show . To me they are the best i have seen , but i don't want to forget other great bands in Japan . 🙏🇳🇱🎶🎵🎶🎺🎷they are awesome . Salut from Holland .

That’s the first time I have seen that video with different camera angles, very good thank you who ever did that ☹️ The choice of music and the excellent arrangements really emphasis how really great musicians these kids are 👏 Had to that choreography movement in perfect timing to the tunes and the colour guard working there socks of to! To present an incredible show. I did see a video a while back at one of this music fairs( looked like the same venue), where the watching audience, clapped so hard at the end and asked for an encore and then obviously obliged. I have never seen that happen before and when they went off the crowd were high giving them 👋. I think the kids were really taken a back by it and the smiles on their faces , went from ear to ear 😄. Anyone remember seeing it? The future is bright the future is Orange 🍊

This performance in 2018 was a big deal because it was in Tokyo, where the band was known only because of its Rose Bowl appearance on Jan. 1. After that, the band captured the country's attention.
2018 was a great year -- Okazel as DM, Tippi and Penguin on percussion, Milpy twirling flags, the pretty clarinetist with the Cindy Crawford cheek bones and smile, so many memorable young women :)
@@CaseyRoche Yeah but Chippy and Milpy have already graduated. They were only active from May 2015 to January 2018(because of the Rose Parade), and graduated March 2018 along with DM Ron. Okazel took control of the band on March 2018. Band members have only 3 years to play, starting April of their first year until December of their Senior year. Apparently the situation with Chippy and Milpy is that they retired on January because obviously they had to attend the Rose Parade first.
A nice film of this event, pity about camera 3; seems to have a stability problem. The whole show, filmed like this was far superior to the many single camera offerings of this show. Thank you for sharing.
erniesbudolab I have noticed double reeds(oboes and bassoons) being used in their symphonic settings. I would expect the color guard to be playing these instruments.
Mike Hodges I’ve also seen double bass being played and by sheer luck, while searching for jazz clubs to visit on my next trip to Japan, discovered a few former KT members performing in jazz ensembles.
Sometimes the color guard play instruments not used in KT's marching, such as oboe, bass clarinet, string bass, etc. but they also have people volunteering for color guard who play the usual instruments. In a recent 'Groo-Me' interview, former KT sousaphone player 'Yurumowa!' tells how she volunteered for color guard but was told that sousaphone players are needed and can't volunteer! (See th-cam.com/video/vL4Owa2WUbY/w-d-xo.html) Also, in 2019 when flute player 'Palinpu' became Drum Major, there was no-one left in the flute section (until several players arrived in the new intake) so one of the color guard was transferred back onto flute duty.

メインのカラーガードさん達３人ともカワイイです♪ いつも中央にいる子はやはりしっかりした演技ですね。２０分頃のダンスはとても女性的魅力を感じました。新人と見られる方々も初々しくて良かったです。これから橘の伝統を継承されていくのでしょうね。

I have a special place in my heart for the 2018 group always. The flag bearer girl is iconic to me. I love them. USA fan forever and ever.

素晴らしい映像のアップに感謝いたします。ほぼ真上からの全体の映像もフォーメーションが一目瞭然でとても貴重ですね。屋外では、ドローンでの撮影動画も想像したことがありますが、その場合は安全も考慮しないといけませんからね。

京都橘のカラーガードは他には無い乙女らしい表現が魅力的です。
好きな表現として、 7:55 一生懸命歩いているといった感じがなんとも可愛らしい表現で微笑んでしまいまいます。
続く 8:02 所謂ぶりっ子ポーズですが、これも女性ではなく乙女な表現だと思います。
そして、最初から最後まで一貫した表現として、フラッグを持つ反対の指先が体に触れている時以外は反り気味で、
しかも親指を揃えるのではなく、敢えて開いている点です。
親指も一緒に揃えると女性らしさは増しますが、凛々しさも増してしまい、可愛さは失われます。
こういった細かい部分まで計算された表現で、それらが結集している京都橘のカラーガードはとても魅力的です。
私のようなカラーガード好きにはたまらない映像です。
とはいえ、数回見させて頂き思ってしまいました。
上からの視点はこちらだけが所有している貴重な映像なので上からの映像単独で欲しい と・・・。

It's my understanding that the Color Guard also play instruments during symphonic performances. I wonder what variety of instruments they play.

おじさんファンも沢山いる橘は広告塔に相応しい。プロ顔負けの撮影を敢行するカメラおじさん達が、
演奏の練習にも集中したら隠れた才能が開花するかもしれないw
なるほど！その手があったか。おじいちゃんおばちゃんが慣れた尺八や横笛を吹くだけではなく、健康保持にもと洋楽器を買い込み、それを手にして○マ○スクールに通う、さらには数少ない孫に子供用から始まってどんどん楽器を買い与えて確実に橘をはじめ吹奏楽に名だたる高校へ送り込む(^^♪ついには、それぞれの学校に楽器を買って寄贈する・・・・、ふむふむ。こりゃ、橘をほおってはおかれぬわえ。

個人的な感想ですが、
このステージが橘のメイン会場でこれが全てならばそうかもしれない。ただ本来のメインイベントは午後の（多分ちゃんとした）ホール演奏で、午前のステージとマーチングは多くの橘ファンに見てもらいたいとして（勿論、集客も兼ねて）運営側が用意したサブイベントと思うので設営、音響に多少不満があっても許容の範囲かなと。こうして橘の演奏もこのような動画で見れるし、橘の生徒さんたちは大忙しだったと思うけど、ともかく主催者、運営側には今回、招待してくれたことに感謝してます。
まあ、次の出番のジャズバンドのステージからすると
橘が演奏してる場所は、本来は客席か並んでいる場所なんだわな。
だから、正面が薄いのは仕方がないわな。
なぜ、ちゃんと撮らないのでしょうか？
