First, Malcolm's life experience led him to adopt Elijah Muhammad's philosophy for a while--until Malcolm traveled to Africa and met a number of good whites who saw him as an equal, and their actions supported that. The same with me when I was in Europe. I have found the vast majority of American whites to be fair, but! I have also noticed as did Malcolm many years ago, that American whites have been conditioned to believe they have the cat bird seat, which allows them special entitlements. This behavior is subconscious, apparently, and at the same time, people if color appear to accept that conditioning. I have observed that POC will often treat each other less than fair. After I had been Europe only a few months, it became clear to me that Americans--irrespective of color, race or religion, had more in common than they thought. Same is true for today. The only contraindications ems for the administration of ketamine is a known sensitivity to the drug. ketamine, haldol, geodon, and other drugs given for sedation are often given before the EMS provider has a chance to obtain a history due to safety issues.

This DA is as cold-hearted as the police officer who put his knee on George Floyd's neck, as cold-hearted as the police officers who went back to the site of Elijah's death and snapped a laughing photo of the moment. Carotid is pronounced like KA rot id. The family should have ordered an autopsy from an independent medical examiner. The guy vomited multiple times and very likely aspirated the vomit into his lungs. This could also explain why he couldn't breathe. People get aspiration pneumonia like this. There was an incident in Louisiana a few years back where police arrested a black man for getting into an argument with his girlfriend in public. While in custody, the police took his pants because they were "sagging" and then went on to use a taser to keep him quiet, resulting in a heart attack.
This story makes me cry, what makes me cry more is even though we demand justice, especially after yesterday, we get pepper sprayed and beat by the swat team even when a violin vigil goes on. This is Denver/Aurora, Aurora PD declared our protest as illegal after 7pm, then sprayed us with pepper spray and attacked us, while we demanded justice from the DA for Elijah McClain.

The video of Elijah pleading for his life is the one that broke me. I am so hurt and heart broken I don’t want to see anymore videos. I’ve been on the verge of tears all day and can’t stop thinking about that kid pleading for his life in every way he could think of to make them show mercy. The only contraindications ems for the administration of ketamine is a known sensitivity to the drug. ketamine, haldol, geodon, and other drugs given for sedation are often given before the EMS provider has a chance to obtain a history due to safety issues.

Does the District Attorney NOT CARE that the cops had no business stopping Elijah in the first place? The DA doesn't even seem to care that Elijah, an innocent person, is DEAD. Does he not care that ONE of the possible options the coroner listed on the cause-of-death report WAS that that cops' actions might have caused the death? He avoids even talking about it.

Carotid is pronounced like KA rot id. The family should have ordered an autopsy from an independent medical examiner. The guy vomited multiple times and very likely aspirated the vomit into his lungs. This could also explain why he couldn't breathe. People get aspiration pneumonia like this. When someone vomits like this they should be turned on their side, which most likely the cops neglected to do and they should have known. Sad incident and I mean INCIDENT, not accident.

There was an incident in Louisiana a few years back where police arrested a black man for getting into an argument with his girlfriend in public. While in custody, the police took his pants because they were "sagging" and then went on to use a taser to keep him quiet, resulting in a heart attack.

my 16-year-old nephew was tasered in his own backyard; the police said they were chasing someone when they saw him running; they told him not to move but he kept running. why did he keep running? well, he had his headphones on while he was doing the sprints, practicing for football, in his own backyard. they caused injury to his arm and he couldn't play for a few games; and get this...the person they were looking for turned out to be a white guy

The video of Elijah pleading for his life is the one that broke me. I am so hurt and heart broken I don’t want to see anymore videos. I’ve been on the verge of tears all day and can’t stop thinking about that kid pleading for his life in every way he could think of to make them show mercy. And they talked over him and ignored every word. I had to hear his words so why couldn’t they listen to him when it mattered? Why are these cops so cruel? I keep thinking about my autistic son and how he is very different too. People probably think he’s strange and weird when he walks down the street. He’s a sweet, kind, gentle soul. Just like Elijah was. Loves animals and music and is quirky and enjoys being alone. That’s my kid. I just can’t take the horrible news like this anymore. Please let something change fast. We are heading toward a very bad place.
