I got to see this one before. But it's worth telling you again how great it was! You're a super driver with a great attitude. Take good care of yourself.😊
Super Shiny New Bus you drive to Chicago Alblua🏙🚌✨✨🎈🎈😎 It moves right along at a steady smooth pace but the blinkers are a little bit loud the tik tok tik tok haha. The mood lighting is nice too the green color and would be especially soothing to the senses during the late night hours. So how about the new bus smell is it the same as new car smell? Thanks for posting great bus videos I always enjoy to accompany you along for the ride👍 Have a Good One😊
Yes, the blinkers are quite loud now 🤣 The changing light colors is a rarity in our fleet. New bus smell is a little different than a new car smell, hard to describe!
Actually this one kind of fell in our laps 🤣 We never order a color other than white. Most of the different color buses you see are orders for other companies that didn't finalize and we were able to buy them instead!
Quite the opposite, actually! Prevost is the gold standard. The VanHool CX45 is one of the roughest riding buses and is wildly unpopular among our drivers.
@@alblua wow interesting...even with the air ride seat? Maybe you can do a video on comparison of different units at Peoria :) I'm well versed in cars but zero knowledge on motorcoaches. Always, thanks for bringing us quality videos!
As far as I know Van Hool in North America aims for a lower price market. I am guessing the rougher ride is a result of the European suspension settings. In Europe Van Hool is more in the mid-range market field.
@@_Jin_Kim_ Yes, even with the air ride seat! I've only had the seat bottom out (even with the seat on the stiffest spring setting) only on a VanHool CX-45 on the same potholes. I'm considering making a series of reviews with all the different models we have!
I made the mistake of buying a black car one time and I will never do it again. Black looks good when it is fresh clean but it never stays that way for very long.
Well you did fine. That one car was crowding you and he kept crossing the line. I noticed that he did that a couple times when you got near Chicago! In fact you might have been in the edge of Chicago. Now that space that they wanted you to put it that into I don't see you in the top hat it's not good look for you.I don't think you you can pull a rabbit out of a hat. So I think that would be the only way that you possibly could get that big coach in that space. That coach does not fit under a bed! Now give that finger a rest when you count all the things in the engine that you're supposed to check because the way you shake that thing if you have kids. They should be scared to death of that finger. That engine on that coach is scared to death of what you did to it with that finger so it knows better and act up while you're driving it. Again you made a really good quality video. Enjoy yourself have a great evening...
Is the bus new to you or an actual new model, the outside seemed mostly 1980s style and inside like 2015. What bus manufacturer is this btw? I have seen many old and new buses of very high quality and comfort, i was on a train replacment (setra coach bus)with a dark grey floor carpet lit by floor lights, it looked like a spaceship with a glass roof along the whole bus over the walking area, curtains and and LED light bars along the sides of the roof and buttons above seat are lit in blue. The light intensity would change whenever we approached a bus station. It was slightly similar to this on the interior except id prefer other seats for this video bus. But man the exterior feels so outdated. I've heard North america makes it hard to sell international bus brands there, so i guess exterior is fine for american standards. Similar with amazon delivery trucks, a 2019 model looked exactly the same as the 1980 model.
This is an actual new model, 2023 model year. The bus is a CX-45 manufactured by VanHool, which is a European bus manufacturer. Yes, the North American market is behind in bus design in comparison to other parts of the world!
I tell you what I wish that when jams do his video that he does a fast track when driving a lest u don't do that that whats makes your video a bit better to watch
Actually, the CX45 driver seat is at the same level as the passenger area. Prevost and MCI driverseats both sit at a separate, lower level than passengers.
alblua i'm ❤your biggest supporter of your work but please see me more details of your project so that i can help me do more videos of my channel please thank me for following me on this project please thank bye
I’m sorry you’re tied up with shaming and misunderstanding habits that you are not used to seeing. Not only do I wash my gloves after every trip, I take my gloves off interacting with customers as they are rough textured for better grip on the steering wheel. They are not comfortable for handshakes.

Thanks! This video was on a scheduled release to the public, you just had a sneak preview before everyone else!
I'm where that's what's going to happen but I am going to comment on your TH-cam videos every time I see one they're excellent. You deserve it
Thank you! 🙏
@@berylwhite2983 you welcome brother have a blessed day
thank you, this video reminds why I gave up driving my Van Hool in Boston & NYC!
Haha, it definitely requires patience!
I love those color changing light bro
It's a pretty cool feature! 🪩🕺

James Did the McCormick Place Shuttle in 233 But that is a older version in the same color!
Yes, 233 is actually slightly lighter shade of gray!
J Wang does know how to order a decent spec bus!!!!!!!

I like blacks in Van Hool more than in MCI. it looks exotic honestly
We have a MCI J4500 in black as well (#280), similarly was ordered by a different company that didn't go through and we took it instead
I look at every Peoria Charter I pass now, just to see if you happen to be the driver.
Maybe you'll see me one day! I do work in the office on weekdays, so weekends (but not always) are your best bet finding me on the road 🚌
Am I safe to assume Vanhool is little bit more on the high end of the motor coaches? Dark color scheme looks 🔥

It's a hard paint color to maintain, but gives great reward when kept clean!
Lol you got a CX45 this time, does it change your mind about the CX45? Also is the new bus smell different from the new car smell? Great video!

Are the new ones just as rough as the old ones
They're a little better, but still one of the roughest rides in the fleet comparatively.
Have you driven the Temsa TS35 yet?
Nope, we don't have any Temsa buses in our fleet

@alblua the mid-size 35ft coach
Yes! We had two that we traded in a couple years ago

Why do most people drive with gloves on and some don't and why don't you talk on here but when James is filming you talk

White gloves are worn as a sign of respect and professionalism for the job. It's common practice in Asia
